To ANYONE who might be unlucky as me and stumbles upon this thread, if all else fails go to CONTROL PANEL on your Windows and click uninstall - the EA app for some reason will offer to repair it.

Control Panel doesn't work either.
i am not able to uninstall the EA app
Did you find out how you can uninstall it i have the same problem
If going to the control panel -> uninstall programs and clicking the EA app doesn't offer a repair, go to the EA website and download the installation file. when you open it, it will say EA app already installed and prompt to repair the app. this worked for me because the control panel did not.
