Unable to change formation/team sheet in career mode

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? This happened after playing a season in career mode.
What happens when the bug occurs? The team sheet is locked in the default formation for my team. Next to it is a yellow icon of a broken link.
What should be happening instead? I should be able to change my team formation.
I've been playing with the same save in career mode for a season and a little bit. I played this morning and everything worked fine. Now when I start up the game my team formation is locked into the default formation for my club and I am now able to change it. When I want to change it, I can select different formations, but nothing happens. It shows a yellow icon of a broken link, which may have something to do with it. I read a topic that this has been going on for a few weeks already. Any idea on what I can do to fix it? Any sight on when EA is going to fix this? Thanks.
