Defending corners impossible with silly bug fc25

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It doesn’t make any sense why my biggest aerial threat in terms of defending is stood on the front post and my 5 foot 9 centre midfielder is marking the oppositions 6 foot 6 striker. It never makes any sense. It happens every time and it means I concede every time.
What happens when the bug occurs? My tiny player marks their biggest aerial threat and my centre back is stood on the front post.
What should be happening instead? It just makes sense that the two players should be swapped. If I am for example Liverpool I should expect Mo Salah on the front post and Virgil van Dijk marking Dominic Calvert Lewin not the other way round.
