It looks like the top score in our Random 4 Sim on PS5 has leaked from the 6 holes tournament.
I see, this cheater is often the case that the tiebreaker numbers are out of whack.
As in these attached images.
However, it is rare that the tiebreaker numbers are not abnormal, as in this attached image.
Either way, cheater comes in first place in the tournament with a bad score, just the same.
These cheaters should be excluded from the EA PGA TOUR.But will season 12 be the last update now?
Will CHEATER be left out too?
I don't think they're necessarily cheating, this kind of thing has been happening since launch - though it became less common after they fixed a bug with the menu system in one of the earliest patches.
Only "Omega_Souji" has won with a lower score every time, so I don't think it's a bug.
If it is a bug, the same phenomenon should happen to others.Bugs are unintentional and can happen to more than one person.
On the other hand, a cheat is intentional, so it can only happen to those who take certain measures.
"Omega_Souji" is the only one who has been taking advantage of this phenomenon recently and has been ranked first many times with a low score.

They're all from the Random 4 tournaments, do you have other example from the other tournaments? Top 10% are winners in this tournament, and it looks like he still didn't break ranked top 1000.
The only Daily tournaments I participate in Random4, sorry.
I otherwise participate in weekly tournaments and seasonal tournaments.I have never seen this cheater in weekly tournaments or seasonal tournaments.
I did not participate, so I am only in the range of checking the results,
but it looks like this cheater did not participate in Random6 and Random9.All of the results I saw were in Random4.
I am convinced that this CHEATER will never participate in anything other than random4.
Because, although he may be trying to keep a low profile, he will always join just a few minutes before the end.
I have never seen you participate from the time you can afford.
That means I can't participate in more than one tournaments.
And if you participate, you will always be in first place no matter how bad your score is.
Even at the time of this writing, July_02_2024, I joined just before the end of the day and am in first place.
With a score not worthy of first place, of course.
If you have participated in random4, "Omega_Souji" is now shown in first place in random4 of "FIANL".
Importantly, even when the tiebreaker numbers are not abnormal, they are in first place only because of terrible scores.
In other words, the tiebreaker numbers are probably a decoy and not directly related.
In fact, I would say that it is more malicious, and is doing some CHEAT.

If he always played at the last minute in that Random 4, he probably found a glitch. EA will never fix it, like they never fixed the glitch in the Random 3 holes in TW14. But like Kat said, it doesn't really matter, all top 10% of us in that Random 4 tournament are winners.

Ha yeah, the famous Random 3 holes glitch in TW14, just about everybody in the top 100 was using that. 😃
Omega_Souji originally joined earlier in the day.
Perhaps to keep a low profile, he just changed the time he joined later, then later, and so on.
In other words, I don't think it is an "it's only possible if it's late" act, as someone wrote.
I am surprised that glitching used to be the norm.
It means that player morale was pretty bad back then.
Now it seems there are only one or two players who cheat.
The other day, a daily tournament in which more than 100 players were supposed to win at the same time was ruined by the usual cheats of "Omega_Souji".
Is those conditions what this EA PGA TOUR should be like?
I am surprised at EA's attitude of not moving at all.
The tiebreaker is not changed, but the normal value is used, and only the bad score is ranked first. The tiebreaker is also ranked No. 1 when the tiebreaker value is abnormal.
However, the score is bad.So with the glitch you mention, both of those things are possible?
I joined since Season 11, so I don't know anything about what happened before that.
Top 10% are "winners", thanks for the consolation.
But the top 10% are 'winners' is a 'designation' to classify rewards.
We know that.
I also know that only the first place is a real Winner.
So I'm playing for first place.
There is no difference that Omega_Souji is cheating, so something needs to be done about it.
I don't expect any action to be taken, though, with EA probably not going to update any more.
It's a shame.

He doesn't belong in the Random 4 holes, but his scores keep showing there. In the first one, it looks like he played the 6 holes tournament and got 2 bogeys to have a Tiebreaker 4. Why he ended up on top with a tiebreaker 4 like all all the others with a score of +1 makes no sense. In the second and third games, he played 18 holes and had 2 bogeys for Tiebreaker 16.
Having said that, I understand your frustration. I was fortunate to have the top score not long ago, which is very rare for me. Just to wake up the next morning in 2nd place because of him.

To be designated 'winner' as you call, it's a lot more than just rewards. You finish 1st or 89th, if you're deemed a winner, EA will rank you as such no matter what. And if you don't play an event and somebody else does, it will affect both of your ranking too. I didn't play 'Arcade' seasonal event this time around, I just played Pro. Dad ended up ranked higher than me this morning by playing both events. It didn't matter he just got an Elite Ranking, he got rewarded and ranking points to play the event.
I see you on top of the leaderboard most of the time in Random 4. For what you played, EA is ranking you 257th, Souji 801. That's where you are the winner over him.
At the end of the day, we're all jabronis for @packattack04082 , Tee-wan, Gazak and other top players.
