Re: AI Ghosting through eachother
Same for me. I've seen them ghost through each other on random laps in replays, with collisions on and simulation damage. This may explain why there are hardly any instances of AI causing wrecks and safety cars (something that many people have been complaining about).
I notice it happening when the AI is stacked too close going into a turn and when they are overtaking one another. The game lets them ghost each other to prevent a collision. They also ghost through the player's car if the player does something like brake too hard going into a narrow turn (like the hairpin at Austria) and the AI can't stop in time.
Please, please fix this. This is not working the way it should, and makes races way more boring. I would expect the values for ghosting would be either 1 or 0/true or false; not something contextual.
