what is wrong with you (EA)
you (EA) seriously don't care about the player base one bit, there's been requests for MONTHS that you (EA) keep ignoring and you worder why this game is so dead.....
I think it's obvious, just about all devs have moved on to work on other games. In February or March, this game is going to the vault, where EA Play subscribers will be able to play it for free.
Seems about the same to me as well. Though the roll out for the mid to long irons didn't seem as much as they were before. But it could be just me, since I only play test after every patch now.
The putting still feels sticky... but I agree it still feels like the same game.
EDIT - I just played a few holes on St Andrews and the roll out definitely feels like it has been adjusted and feels much better to me.

Other then pro pass all i see is the Same Old Stuff still cant toggle on/off RNG/dispersion cant even wear glasses.
Why oh why would they bring back the "random 9" for online? It has no value-add for the players, if anything it adds confusion about how many holes you have left and limits the variety of holes a course has to offer. I played 2 games where out of 9 holes, the first had 4 par 3's and the other had NO par 5's! (time to insert shameless plug for random tees)
The Pro Pass reflects the listlessness of the devs - just like they removed any incentive to play the Sim Seasonal tourney, they've downgraded all the paid prizes. Previous seasons items were gold (more expensive) and now it's either purple equipment or blue clothing. pfffft.

I was surprised this wasn't there from the start, or at least have sunglasses available. Now 10 patches later it still hasn't been implemented. Not a critical addition, but you would think an easy one.

People that ware glasses want there avatar to ware glasses. I'm only half bald but in this game you have two choices all bald or a full head of hair.
They're making us women wear those awful black socks, nobody wear those. I have a cute little short white Adidas skirt, and it's all messed up with those socks YUCK! If they could let us wear no sock like in the TW series, it would be perfect but no.
After watching some reruns with the movie “The Untouchables”, Robert De Niro has been known with the line “You got Nothing…Nothing!” After not 1, not 2, not 3, but 10 patches, Robert De Niro’s famous line is still shining in current PGA Tour. @Katybee_1313 is right that the game is more likely to be pushed to the EA Play vault by March.

Nelly Korda in the game has no socks. It makes sense that created women golfers need the option to have no socks like Nelly Korda. Those black socks makes my avatar look like a postal worker. The black socks would only work if I have the option to dress the avatar with a women’s Miami Heat Uniform. The socks has been there since launch.
I'm sure Nelly is wearing socks real life, it's just that women's socks like mine and probably hers don't show as they're the same height as our shoes. That's one way to always look good, but EA make us female players look like bag of potatoes with ugly black socks. Not that 2K is much better. Why did games on PS3 made us look so good, while golf games on PS4 and PS5 made us looks so bad?
The current EA PGA Tour and 2K23 did not make us look good. The TW Series and 2K21 had a huge selection of clothing and socks for women that made our avatars look better. TW14 gave us options for socks and even cowboy boots. Those cowboy boots looks way better with a skirt or shorts than the postal worker socks. Even 2K21 gave women golfers candy cane socks and the Margot Robbie style shades.
But what makes TW07 to TW14 superior compared to 2K or current game is photo gameface. This feature can make our avatar look exactly like us to go along with the awesome selection of clothing. I just hope the next iteration will have photo gameface, the large selection of clothing including the cowboy boots and those Margot Robbie shades.
It is so shocking how a game ten years can be more advanced than the current EA game and 2K23. Other sports games like NBA 2K, EA FC, and UFC has progressed each iteration.

Inclement weather was available in the TW series. There were weather settings for rain, clear or overcast. There were also wind settings to control wind speed from calm to gale force. A game 10 years ago just had more features than current game.

Due to purchasing another golf game I messed up ordering it off of Playstation under a different email. so to play the EA game I have had to start all over again (not using sim mode yet, as not consistent enough)
the 1 new intro from the previous patch the new putting grids are terrible and I think are a lot harder to read, which I think will put off new players from the start
I understand why people might want inclement weather, but for myself it is well down the list of things I would like resolved in the game.
Until they fix the gameplay... everything else seems unimportant to me. If the game doesn't play well, it doesn't matter how pretty or how many features it has. It just isn't worth playing.
4 times last night tried to play online matches. All 4 times got bounced back to the main menu. Gave up, exited game. A recurring theme lately with this game.
Got the Zen Studios Pinball M game the other day. Guess what it has in it-CROSSPLAY.

Please fix career mode playoff.
Playoff starts with the playoff rules, then shows a close-up of some rough, or something. After quitting and saving, the opponent is one hole ahead and never shows their score.
