@ScarDuck14  Lets say that if you only have one item of each category left you aren't really able to reduce your tech level as you would be required to dismantle the only item you have left.

(Personally I haven't tried this), but I would assume that if you would did so, you would essentially revert a large chunk of progress that has been made to acquire said upgrade in the first place. So this isn't and should not be a viable fix for this issue. This, as the strength/level of the upgrades you receive seem to be based on your current tech level.

I am currently around tech level 650 and have serious issues constantly being over-leveled /having an overdeveloped car.
