Re: Fanatec loadcell pedals dont register in f1 23 until 50% brake pressure

@vorsalino Thanks bro. I will try it when i come home. Tbh i always had problems with my Fanatec pedals and Logitech wheel on f1 games at launch but they always had a patch after 1 week that fixed all my problems.

  • I'm having the same issue with my Simworx pedals, and have seen plenty of posts on the Steam forums about Heusinkveld pedals doing similar things.

Seems like it isn't brand-specific, so hopefully a fix will come to all.

Otherwise it'll be a very quick refund, no point in having the game if the pedals don't function properly haha

  • @Pabloonisaia Update me when you try it, see if creating the settings from the pedals preset makes the wheel feel weird. BTW do you use the g29?
And are your pedals the Fanatec CSL Elite Pedals LC or the CSL Pedals LC?
  • So my setup is:

    Wheel base: Fanatec DD1
    Wheel: Universal Hub
Pedals: Simworx GT Pedals (https://www.simworx.com.au/controls/pro-gt-v3-1-lc - essentially these, but an older version)

I had no issues on 22 just plugging and playing, but I set it up exactly the same way this time and am having this issue.

I saw someone mention manual calibration. Is that an option in game?

    Thanks for helping btw

  • @Pabloonisaia i told you, it seems that only the original device from the preset you choose to make your custom scheme works properly. Try making a custom scheme from the keyboard preset, you will see that both the wheel and pedals fail.

I guess this doesnt happen to anyone who has a preset that includes both the pedals and the wheel, but I dont know if this happens to everyone that has 2 presets at the beginning.
I just hope we get an official answer soon from EA as to whether they will do something about this or not ☹️

    Haha

I have a preset that has both the pedals and the wheel and I have the same issue...

  • Same here mate

My preset has my pedals & wheelbase in it, and I've still got the 50% brake pressure bug

Bit of a shame really, but hopefully it gets fixed within the next week or so

Otherwise I'll just refund it and go back to Assetto Corsa/ACC

Was kind of looking forward to trying the career in VR tbf haha

I have been checking a bit more, it seems that when I get the pedals to work, aside from the wheel ffb feeling weird, some buttons do have quite a bit of delay, in my case downshifting has got some delay, so it does not only have an effect on the ffb but also some button's time response

@BenSmith3445 I had similar issue with different set of pedals in F1 22.
What fixed my issue was binding again Brake and Throttle pedals, but make sure to press it hard so it records all travel

    No luck

Am I the only one still having this issue? Has anyone found a fix?

I'm thinking it might be time to refund tbh, I don't think it's worth the hassle haha

I am having same issue ..

    simucube 2 Pro

    Fanatec clubsport v3 pedals

    Cube controls wheel

    I see 3 presets

    Both usb to pc

The pedals worked perfect when pedals were connected to wheel base with rj12 cable .. soon as I used two separate USB slots this happens .. so maybe its because its not a pass through connection its not working correctly

  • Found this topic because I was having the same problem.

Don't know if you guys are still having this problem, but I managed to fix it. So I thought I'd share my solution here.

I had just installed my new Fanatec setup, brake didn't register any input until probably around 50% pressed.

I am using the CSL pedals LC kit and play on PS5.

What fixed it for me was connecting the LC pedal to the pc with the provided cable and updating the firmware of the pedal to the newest version.

(If you try this, keep in mind that you have to disconnect the pedal from the wheelbase (take out the RJ12 cable)

As I said, idk if it helps anyone, but I hope it does. 🙂
