At first when you go into the settings to adjust the pedals/wheel do you have 2 diferent presets on? One for the wheel and another for the pedals (check image) as I do, if so I guess you know that when you want to adjust the settings (increase deadzone, sensibility etc...) you have to make a new scheme with both the wheel and the pedals settings so you end up with only one scheme instead of 2.
The thing is you can choose to make this scheme from the wheel or the pedal preset, if you do so from the wheel preset, the pedals wont work properly but if you do so from the pedals preset the wheel ffb and overall behaviour will be horrendous. I have also tried from the keyboard preset but it makes both pedals and wheel fail, I had this same issue last game, nothing seems to fix it. Seems that only the original device from the preset works properly, the rest of them dont. It would be as simple as allowing us to use 2 different schemes instead of forcing to 1 if we wanna change the settings
I'm having the same issue with my Simworx pedals, and have seen plenty of posts on the Steam forums about Heusinkveld pedals doing similar things.
Seems like it isn't brand-specific, so hopefully a fix will come to all.
Otherwise it'll be a very quick refund, no point in having the game if the pedals don't function properly haha
So my setup is:
Wheel base: Fanatec DD1
Wheel: Universal Hub
Pedals: Simworx GT Pedals (https://www.simworx.com.au/controls/pro-gt-v3-1-lc - essentially these, but an older version)
I had no issues on 22 just plugging and playing, but I set it up exactly the same way this time and am having this issue.
I saw someone mention manual calibration. Is that an option in game?
