@AnthonyLee59 If it was so simple you could do that with players in games like FIFA. Where you can edit the players stats but what you can’t do is change their names.

It’s licensing. You can’t buy F1 22 without Vettel in the game because as of 2022 he was in the sport. You can’t just change it simply because it’s 2023. You’re also complaining that he’s still in the game on the F1 23 board. He will not be in the game for F1 23.
