Summarize your bug Error Code: 5 on Career mode
How often does the bug occur? Very frequently; every 10 - 20 minutes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? While playing career mode, I'll play 2-3 holes and a eventually get a message saying 'An error occurred while saving'. I'm on year 2 of career mode (only play career mode), and it happens on all courses with my created character.
What happens when the bug occurs? While the game is attempting to save, I cannot access the menu, but I can continue playing. The message will pop up every hole. If I quit the round or exit the game, any holes completed while the error message has been happening will have to be redone. If I quit to the menu, the message will repeat on the menu and the game is soft-locked until I exit and restart it. (see attached)
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to save normally without error messages
Additional info: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice with no effect. The game has been doing this for the last 4-5 months. It seems like it's more frequent recently. I have read online about disabling tool tips or adjusting other settings, and I've tried everything with no effect. I do notice some correlation with on-screen UI popping up (such as the quests/challenges/XP type UI messages) it seems to happen more often when those are displaying, but it's not consistent.
This bug makes it extremely frustrating to enjoy career mode. It seems like something that should be able to be sorted out, so help would be appreciated here. Can you share what 'Error Code: 5' pertains to? Is it some sort of networking issue or something like that?
