@ELF014For me one of the most important thing is the graphics and it's why I like the EA game. After that I try to go back on time to the 2k game and the swing has a terrible look and feeling like if we are in a 10 years old game. I agree with the fact that 2k is harder but it is badly harder for me.
I agree with you that EA looks better but it should, as it is a current generation game. And 2K is harder... but that isn't why I think it is a better game. I just ferl it plays more like the actual game of golf.
Real golf is hard to master... but relatively easy to find some success. And I think 2K does a reasonable job of representing this at the most difficult settings.
But to your point the swing in 2K is terrible, and I blame the content providers for this. They wanted a faster swing animation... well golfers all have different swing speeds and styles. And in my opinion having this accelerated swing took away the partial shots from the game.
AND.. without a doubt 2K's swing animation can be glitchy at times... where the swing animation speed is inconsistent from swing to swing. Noticeable especially when chipping around the greens.
The swing animation was much better in the previous versions of 2K's game.
For me the EA game with the physics from 2K would make for a pretty good representation of golf. Though neither have figured out how to do a ball drop yet.
Which is why I think the next 2K game may win this ultimate battle if EA doesn't step up and address many of their issues.
A graphics upgrade seems to me to be the easiest fix.
