the team is looking into it, and they might come up with another solution. If that's the case, I will let you know, of course.

It's good feedback from you both. I'm just speaking from my experience with other games in the past, where even the slightest changes to achievements weren't possible once the games released, unfortunately.

It's been 3 weeks and nothing has changed, honestly I grinded all season long to be in the top 3 of being in a fanzone room, and then to turn on the game and the achievement/trophy not unlocking is honestly heartbreaking the achievement/trophy description doesnt make any sense at all, it has to be changed... And the other thing is you cannot see the groups until you choose a Fanzone Drive/Constructer, which makes it even more RNG which makes people make a new account to go on an alt-account to check the standings, honestly why is this even a thing? people shouldnt have to go on an alt-account to look at standings.. 

This trophy "In the Zone" is by far the biggest nonsense and a kick in the * for those who really play.

Because the trophy description says: Be in the winning zone of either a Constructor or Driver Fanzone Room.

Any dedicated gamer will read from this that you have to be in the top 3 of the room in the fanzone chosen at the start of the season (Verstappen and RedBull in my case).
I racked up 54,000 points and was first in both of my groups by some distance. But no, hard work is not rewarded.

They reward those who, shortly before the end of the season, find out which fan zone is the most popular worldwide, log into it and receive the trophy without earning a single point. EA / Codemasters this is absolute *.

I'm really pissed off.

This is one of the most stupid things I have ever seen in a game, and that comes from someone who has been playing EA games for 20+ years.

Firstly the trophy description clearly points towards in being the 50 player room. This is also the obvious choice, rather than relying on a load of random people to play the mode.

Secondly I’ve spent the last 6+ weeks grinding to 42000 points so I would be an easy 1st place in both rooms. If this description was clear I could’ve saved myself 30+ hours on pointless gaming.

Lastly now myself and many others who want the Trophy/Achievement basically can’t play F1 World/Online for the next 55 days. What a stupid feature!

@EA_Vendcera I understand you have 0 say in this, but covering up for EA doesn’t put you in a good light. There is documented evidence of other games changing trophy requirements after launch. The reason it won’t be changed is laziness, not due to technical reasons. Please be clear when responding in the future.

I deserve the Trophy for being 1st in my room and grinding 55 days, and a lot others too, check the attached pictures, ea needs to patch this and give us the Trophy, till then i'm not voting for season 2 yet since right now we are tied to this global vote... i need 10000% confirmation first that the Trophy is addressed and once i vote it'll pop, and on a sidenote... there is still not a unique item reward in the season 2 podium pass, i do not wish to pay for the champions edition to get a unique item, provide a free method already!

I understand all of your frustrations regarding the issues with the achievement. I have passed this on to the CM and this will be escalated to the devs

Same here on Steam, was first on my Verstappen's room and 2nd in Red Bull's, wasted so much time for nothing. This achievement is plain stupid if it rewards people not playing instead of the ones who do. And of course I thought I'd get the achievements so I've already locked my choices for Season 2.

"Tough choices" also didn't unlock...

This better be changed asap, I kinda feel robbed of the achievement as I kept grinding to finish 2nd in both the Max Verstappen and Ferrari room and for it to be determined by pure luck makes it feel like a massive kick in the balls.

Yes the Trophy needs to change but don't make us redo it, simply make the game understand who was on top in their fanzone rooms in season 1 and have that Trophy to pop for those people, but again... we need guarantees by EA that this is done, because in order to check you need to vote for season 2 and as the Trophy stands right now i am not voting yet.

I grinded over 40k points to help Williams get 3rd after I was told top 3 would get the trophy. So much wasted time. Unfathomably annoyed at whoever decided this trophy was a good idea. I was 1st place in both of my rooms and for what? People have discovered you can cheat for it by selecting the 1st place room and driver at the very last second. Can't stress enough that this trophy should be removed or changed. After this season the masses are going to wait for this "winning zone" with 0 points contributed. people already tested on alt accounts selecting Tsunoda and VCARB at the last second to get the trophy. 

@Cpayne32 I was naive enough to believe maybe my trophy would pop after I selected my season 2 picks. So now Im screwed for 110 days 🙂 

You are forced to pick your Season 2 driver/team as soon as you try to play the game and it doesn't let you leave the screen. 

It's all a bit of a mess! Decent idea, poorly executed and not tested. If there is no real reward for this, then what is the point?

Was 1st in both my rooms (McLaren/Norris) comfortably and when the achievement didn’t pop I thought the same as you- that it might pop after going into the games menus more but to do so you have to pick so I did… so I am in the same boat as you.

Why can't you unlock the official helmet for your chosen driver. Wouldn't that be a cool reward? Or one inspired by their design like they gave us in F1 22!

Even a T-shirt with the driver number or Team Logo if they really must push casual wear!

Yeah I am beyond frustrated by this.  I spent near 70 hours grinding out a top spot in Ferrari and Carlos Sainz for less of a reward than I get for a doing a daily 5 lap race.  There is no excuse for misleading players like this.  We're the ones out here keeping the online community alive and they're rewarding people who joined in 4 hours before season end and picked VCARB.  

Achievement aside its ridiculous that essentially VCARB is the most popular team in F1 followed by Alpine and Williams according to this.  That should be proof enough that this implementation is broken.

Honestly I was already pretty iffy on this game and certainly this is enough to get me to stop on F1 world or spending pitcoin.  Right now I am mad enough about this utter disregard for the most loyal players that I will probably, for the first time in a decade, skip next years game.

Agree I was in Hamilton fan zone first and no trophy.. what a mess whole season for nothing 

From what i understand ofnit you have to be in the winning team or driver overall rather than being 1st in your chosen driver group.

my reasoning is i know someone who chose Visa cash app rb and yuki tsunoda and got both of the trophies.

granted its completely random as to who wins but i guess the workaround is to monitor from another account then make your choices just before the season ends.

as of around 5:30pm GMT on 24.7.24, the same combo was a good few thousand points ahead in both categories so that looks like the best option (please note im not guaranteeing this will be the same at the end)

But it's frustrating when it's defined differently and based on effort, but in the end is awarded completely random and only by luck.

Complete *** and absolutely frustrating for the players who have shown the ambition.

Now everyone will just wait for the last day of the season, not play in F1 World until then and then join the winning team at the last moment. Perfect EA / Codemasters.... How to get people to play the season. 👍🤦‍♂️

This is true need wait day before season ends and hope it pops..

Its * all those hours to be first in the room for nothing. I was doubled the pint to the second driver to make sure. No point in ranked and fanzone you miss a week bye bye then fanzone you do t even ga e to race just pick the right person and team.
