Re: Please fix the Ultrawide bug in the replays, dear developers!
Product: F1 23
Platform:Steam-PC
Please specify your platform model. PC
Summarize your bug The replays in F1 23 only show on the center screen in a triple-screen setup, in 16x9 1920X1080 format. The Time Trials and the Races are shown correctly, at the correct resolution (5870x1080). No video/graphics setting seems to solve the replay display.
What is your 16 digit Report Code? HSMC-GXPV-NCTS-MSSE
Can you please provide the name of your current internet service provider? RCS-RDS S.A.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Single Player
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play a Race or Time Trial, End the Session, and visualize the Replay.
What happens when the bug occurs? The Replay is only shown on the Center monitor (1920x1080 / 16x9) in a triple-screen 5870x1080 setup, the side monitors are blank.
What do you expect to see? The Replay in full 5870x1080 triple-screen resolution, as in all the other previous versions of the F1 series, and all the other racing simulators.
Unlike all the other racing games, and especially the previous F1 games (F1 2010 - F1 22) played on a triple-screen 3x43" setup (5870x1080 with bezel correction by Nvidia Surround), the F1 23 game always displays the Time Trial or Race REPLAYS in the 16x9 format (1920x1080), only on the center monitor (the side monitors are blank). The game itself (racing screen) and all the menus are displayed correctly on all 3 screens. Only the replays are shown in the 16x9 format. I find this to be a bug in the game, although it might be an issue only for content creators (like me), who have difficulties matching different resolutions in the video editors, and for the players (like me) who like to visualize the replays on their full triple-screen setup, immersive panorama. Please find the image attached containing a comparison between F1 22 (just one example) and F1 23 screen captures from their respective replays.
