here is video of if https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSVhgC75Bz0 8:40 is when button responses stop working. only option to restart the game. even that didnt work this time. i came back during formation lap. race start i briefly had control of car but it was glitched then the game went to spectator mode. so had to leave and come back AGAIN finally got control of car after its weirdly coming out of the pits.
the few times this happened to me previously the races did not have formation lap so i waited until on the grid but then button presses still did nothing such as adjusting strats etc and then race start still controller not working and i verified with one 2 others on ps4 getting this exact same glitch so its not something im doing wrong such as bad connection or bad controller etc. its a game glitch period. this time before even going to the grid when i saw pushing x over and over did nothing i left early to make sure to get back before race started which i did but it was still glitched. briefly giving me control of the car at the race start but then seconds later putting me on specator mode and my car crashes ...
I think its likely mainly a problem with ps4 version of the game played on original launch type ps4 system. in addition thinking also plays factor doing a really late qual lap when timer is running out. just seems like this glitch happens usually when im doing a really late qual lap. so actually most league races i have been scared almost every race to do a late qual lap because of in fear to get this glitch so this time i risked it and did a nice qual lap 2nd place late BUT THEN i get a race ruining glitch. most previous races i did my last qual lap with like 4 or 5 minutes left. and that seemed to stop me from getting this glitch where button presses do nothing after qualifying..............
