Two player career mode won't open

when being invited to join 2 player career, I receive mail, but when I go to the inbox, I get a spinning icon and can never open it. Can do online with friends when inviting via origin, but can’t start a 2 player career.

Summarize your bug Have had 3 2 player career modes ruined by this bug. My friend crashes at the start of a session, I quit to main menu, reload and I'm stuck on a black screen in the session whilst he's in the career mode main menu. Feels like a waste of time even bothering to play.
Which area is the bug/glitch in? Multiplayer
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Start a 2 player career, crash at the start of a session eg p1, try to reload the save.
What happens when the bug occurs? Black loading screen until 2nd player quits, then I go into session on my own, when he tries to rejoin then, nothing happens for him.
What do you expect to see? A fix.

Nothing more to add than what i've described

My mate and I have been trying for days to get a co-op career up and running like we did last year, but only one of us can join the lobby at a time. When one player joins, the second player attempts to load in before being hit with 'Unable/Failed to connect to EA server'.

We've tried everything.. reinstalling the game, deleting all game files from console and cloud, switching from LAN connection to WiFi (we both have lightning fast internet speeds and cat6 LAN cables), and even resetting/modifying our DNS settings.

We can both join other online modes with no issue. At a complete loss here. Co-op Career is literally the single reason we purchased the game.

(We're both in Australia for what it's worth).

So me and my friend just had the same problem recently and i may have found a fix since it worked for us.

Whoever is host of the two player career mode needs to load into the career mode from the main menu and select the option "Replace Player". Once you have done that it will warn you about removing the existing player, just select "Continue"

After that restart your entire game and load it back up, then once again load into your two player career mode. You will notice that your friend has dissapeared, this is good. After that you simple press "Invite Friend" and select the friend you was playing with. They should then get an invite within their ingame inbox.

Once your friend accepts he will then simply join back into the session, his/her stats and progress will have saved and be back to normal, however be patient. It will take a few minutes maybe more to join back, it took my friend around 3 minutes to finally load in but that might vary based on internet speeds.

This worked for me but i am on PS5, but give this solution a go and hope it helps.
