Re: Pausing game while playing Co-op

@TomasSlb24 You mean to not have any AI controlling? I think it's something that was made on the compromise that one could keep racing but had something unexpected happen and had to leave for a moment and not throw the race entirely to waste.

But as the AI is now, it can be exploitable in those cases, which is really a case of house rules to avoid pausing during race for a fair bit, considering that it is your friend. It will be better when the AI is better tuned

@Hichel18 I'm not mad the AI can control the car if something unexpected happens, it happens to me sometimes too. But using has an exploit to be faster or to not spin is a problem. Normally we just do the race weekend when there is enough time and normally at night so there is nothing to disturb, but the ability to have a slider to tune down the AI level when the game is paused should be there, because it's an online mode. I remember that in F1 2018 when we played leagues, there was a slider to "AI substitute" or something like that so when someone paused or left the session the AI level would be the one used on that slider.

@TomasSlb24 I can understand the situation but, a league racing is player cars that eventually race as an AI because of a problem. That hasn't change as far as I remember.

In co-op are two players racing in a grid of AI, so there is this situation flourishing and it's not that we don't have an option anymore, it's just that it wasn't there at all, and hopefully this situation will be fixed when the AI disparity is fixed.

Now...all things considerend, better tuning for the AI as assuming control of the player car and as racing opponents, would be an interesting setting, though unlikely to happen because of programming.
