Re: Leaderboard

Don't understand why we don't have yellow sectors either.. Only red, purple or green. As far as i know, irl a yellow sector means slower than you were, yet in the game they use red?

That's true, can't understand why it's so difficult to have it yellow instead of red xD

@Rango82 Yup, i suggested that in the old forum too, its really not difficult, someone brought up the idea that they do it for the casuals because red in games is bad and in the US they would be more accustomed to red for bad sectors (dunno about the US)..

Purple best sector in the session
    Green personal best sector
    Yellow everything else

Its not complicated at all but they are not even working like that, like iirc the last (or middle, not sure) sector will only become green if the total time if faster, no matter if the specific secotr is better, only when the whole laptime is better which is really stupid..
  • @Meza994 Actually the yellow colour means a driver has not improved their last PB sector or lap time. There is also a grey colour which means the most recent one sector time or lap time.

@Blackbird90 Depends on what we are referring to.. In the laptime window (for example when you do a hotlap) there arent shown any recent times.. Only about the current lap. If you are talking about leaderboard then there are usually only the white sector times of all drivers, purple for the session best and and only show green sectors for a few seconds if that lap was a best lap for the driver.

Tbh i dont care much about the leaderboard. But the presentation of the laptime during a hotlap is pretty much off of real life

I hope colors are fixed in F1 22. Showing green S2 doesn't give any additional value, when it means your best S1+S2. You can see this from your wheel (at least when driving in cockpit camera).
