@EA_rephiiThe game feels incredible after these driver updates for PC racer. I feel like i can now apply the throttle without the risk of spinning out. The force feedback is also improved, making it easier to catch a spin before it happens.

Really? I can tell no difference between these and 2021_TTRS_4 - were you on that version?

Have you updated the TS-PC to firmware 13?

Which rim and pedals (and how connected please)?

    TIA 🙂

Cant remember what the previous version was.

yes, updated ts-pc to firmware 13 and package 1.TTRS.2022

using the thrustmaster open wheel and t-lcm pedals connected via usb.

everything feels great now.

Thanks for the info mate. I’m using the F1 rim in advanced mode with G923 pedals and a LeoBodnar USB, no issues prior and no improvement! 😁

@SteveJackson Mine was really tough to drive previously, just touching the throttle would make it spin out with no way to save it. Dont know if it had anything to do with having to connect the pedals via rj12 cable. Lucky the patch now allows me to connect via usb.

Well via rj12 you do have less resolution I believe. So ye, less precision. I think, I am not sure.

Unsure. The resolution of the pedal is 16-bit (65536) positions. Doesn't specify more or less via RJ12. Calibration is required when switching from RJ-12 to USB -  AFAIK. Maybe older pedal sets are different res.

with csl elite fanatec pedals if you connect them by rj45 you get 12 bit resolution, usb you get 16 bit resolution, i beleive it's the same for thrustmaster T-LCM.

on a side note i noticed that FFB is really weak when i set my wheel to 900 DOR in control panel/driver using default settings too with T - Boost on or off and adjusting damper in game does very little, set the base to 360 DOR and ffb is as you would expect a lot stronger and more detailed, just a strange detail i noticed

@DavidG53 for the default ffb settings the game loads 85 damper is quite a lot more than i remember from previous years games, is the default setings for FFB values the game sets would you say those are they the optimum settings along with default TM Driver settings and would you suggest using the t boost feature?

@cearp8858 Damper is high on Thrustmaster wheels because Thrustmaster likes to have it quite low in their drivers. Something changed as well in the year with their drivers, at least I fell. So I had to increase it. I just like to have a little bit of weight, so that it helps keep the steering straight.

@DavidG53 Logitech's representative on Reddit confirmed that the Trueforce feature of the G923 is enabled on PC, but only on PC. Any plans on enabling it on consoles too in this game's cycle?

    Sorry for piggybacking.

@DavidG53 ok that makes sense thanks for the info, aside from some weirdness in 4th to 6th gear with the car just losing grip (could be my driving too much steering angle etc) i really enjoy this years handling model and looking forward to the transmission changes you mentioned previously for power/torque delivery.
