I suspect most people's thoughts mirror mine: I've seen nothing to suggest there will be a change from previous games but equally haven't seen anything to say it will definitely still be P2P. What matters is how well it actually works...

Hoping with xplay coming it would be servers, 

multiplayer would be vastly improved that way.

Bear in mind that cross-platform play won't be coming for a while yet, so whatever happens at launch will be independent of this.
