Even i would like to know, is safety-car available in Split Mode and what is the difference between
my team or mycareer in split mode. Is it still possible to play and save it?
I dont want to use my excel sheets again for typing in all the points after each race!

The Excel way seems terribly tedious, and it's a shame that it seems to be the most convenient way of tracking split screen season progress. Especially given that every other funcionality necessary for driving full season of longer races in coach co-op is already there. Actually, game saving feature is there too, but for a mysterious reason it works only in single player "Grand Prix" mode. You can set any number of races there, and saving game progress mid season works flawlessy. I don't get it, as these two play modes (single player and split screen) are virtually the same in terms of all around game mechanics.
