Re: Game refuses to connect to internet, can't sign into EA account.

After days of the playing the new f1 game on ps5, I am now getting an error message saying EA account is required. 

I have an EA account and it’s the same as my psn. It’s linked to my psn as well, so I don’t understand this error. I am now unable to play the game online. 

I have just spoken to EA chat and was told to reset my ea account password, turn off my PlayStation for 2 minutes and then turn back on try again. This doesn’t work. I was then told this was a known issue and EA are looking for a fix. Also keep an eye on EA Twitter page for updates.  

This is an expensive game and you should be able to play online whenever you want. I have also tested on Fifa 22 and it works fine.
