Loosing speed when you accelerate with full traction control

You lose speed when you come out of corners when you use full traction control. Its unplayable. The controller vibrates and you lose speed when you accelerate when you use full traction control.

  • Traction control cuts power to wheels that are spinning making it much easier to not spin out but also much slower. So you might want to turn down your traction control or use your throttle a bit less coming out of corners.

  • The car just struggles to accelerate mid corner to exit, but in f1 2021 it doesn't do this because i think traction control limits the throttle input but does not in f1 22.

  • The game working as intended,

    TC = traction control

    The basic purpose of traction control is to detect when a tyre loses grip, causing the wheel to spin, and then work to stop or slow down the rate of spin. If the ABS sensors detect that a wheel is spinning, the vehicle’s on-board computer will momentarily cut the engine’s output to allow the wheel to slow and, ideally, regain traction.

    So that equals u wont have same power mid/corner exit with TC on, try start with tc on mid, then off,

    when u learn to drive without TC you will notice a huge difference in your lap times.

  • Since the latest update I get this on medium, I've played about but there isn't much I can do on controller and auto gears (old hand injury prevents me doing too much at once on a small controller, even tried the triggers you can buy separately). I feel maybe auto gears has been tweaked worse too since? As TC isn't making much difference to me. Sadly probably won't be able to turn TC off fully with a controller and auto gears as poor gearing is a big part of loosing it around corners. I had no issue on release though. Maybe just needs a middle ground option?
