Re: F1 22 with Fanatec Advanced Paddle Module on PS5

@IcmanMUC Hi.
I’m surprised your up button on the advanced paddle module is not recognized. Mine on my PS5 are linked to ERS by holding the left one and the right one is for DRS.
This is not normal if this is not the case for you.
Regarding the clutch, you have to map one of the bottom trigger and your clutch should be defined.
Here is how you can define your byte point

This is the same procedure as for the Mc Laren GT3 wheel.

BUT be aware that you can only use your clutch during race start. Don’t try to use it by stopping in the track. It will never be effective.

Now I agree with you. The clutch is kind of digital button in f1 22. It works pretty well on other games but not here. The start in f1 22 is buggy and absolutely not realistic.
I bought the advanced paddle module especially for f1 game and i’m like you disappointed. I hope EA or CM or whatever will fix this.

    Thank you @PhilAlary

    I probably need to update the firmware of the Fanatec components for using the upper paddles. I want to do the same as you with them.But I have issues with the Drivers package so I am waiting for Fanatec and a solution.

    Setting the bite point is clear but is not working. Seems to be a software issue of the F1 game, like you say. That’s really disappointing.

    Tried to find the right settings on the track but found out that’s not working too. Tried it only for installing the analog clutch and finding the correct settings, not for regular usage. It’s not implemented too.

    Please EA/Codemaster, implement the analog clutch into the software.

  • Hello EA

    Would this be solved with F1 2024? Would the dual clutch work properly in F1 2024

    greetings Martin
