Re: G Pro Wheel No RPM Lights.

What platform are you playing on? Do the lights work in Dirt Rally 2?

Hope you're enjoying your new wheel otherwise. I think you're the first person to post here having actually got their hands on one.

I am playing on PC sorry about that! Lights do not work on any game I play, Dirt 2 also does not work!

@RandomRandyy Sorry I can't help with your light not working but I am curious how the FFB is with the wheel. Did you upgrade from a G920 or similar? If you get a chance please share your experience with this wheel.

    Thanks!
  • @Hansenhaus Coming from the G920 myself everything was a big upgrade, load cell brake was very nice and got a lot more consistent in braking. The 11nm of force currently is too much for me and I feel like the car is controlling me other than me controlling it. Currently on 6.5 nm of force and its really nice and I really feel all the detail in the gear!

Currently I live in the USA and getting any sim gear from any other major company (Fanatech) is a pain as they are out of stock. If you are willing to wait almost a month then I would get Moza Racing gear since its around the same price but since I don't feel like waiting I went with Logitech and can Highly Recommend it even with the current and only issue I have.

Maybe somebody else here will be able to help but if not I'd probably be trying Logitech support or their forum for help.

I assume you've checked that it's not as simple as a wheelbase setting where you currently have the lights disabled? I can see an option to do this would be desirable for some (including me) so it may well exist.

@Ultrasonic_77 Yeah I double checked the brightness settings. The Lights only turn on when im in the "lightsync" option in the software for Logitech and are always off no matter what in any other settings, desktop, ingame etc.

I've already opened a ticket and Logitech has been helping but im just seeing if anyone else has had this issue!

@wdl1746i5iyb Yup, run the wheel in G923 mode until Logitech fixes it, thats it! All my RPM lights work when using it on that mode and I only came by that fix from Logitech support. Its dumb we will have to wait.

The RPM work well in Asseto or iRacing just not in F1.

@RandomRandyy Hey ya - I've been using the wheel and pedals as well. Different question.
Do you get a linear response of the break force applied? For me it only starts registering in game at about 40% breakforce?

@arvidursis your brake pedal load cell? If it is. It’ll work like a real brake pedal. Which works on how much pressure is applied. If you need to apply 40% before it registers. Either the pedal needs adjustment or your  brake  settings

@ScarDuck14 It's a break load cell. I can see the force is being applied in the GHUB panel when I put force on the cell. But in the game, it doesn't register. So when I roughly apply 40 percent I can see the break force the in the wheel force output oled, but it's not in game.

@arvidurs I’m not sure this will help but Have you tried playing around with the brake settings in the games FFB settings menu

@ScarDuck14 yeah I have had a play. changing saturation and linearity does make changes, but only after I applied more than 40%. I didn't find a way to have it work linear with the actual for registered on the break cell.

@arvidurs yeah thought as much😔 Only other thing that probably won’t work but may as well try. Is I assume you can still change trigger settings off, weak, medium and strong. They are on medium by default. Is to turn them off. Tiny possibility it may work

@ScarDuck14 If I switch the wheel to compatibility mode. it all works as expected, I'm just missing a couple of buttons.

@arvidurs Think there’s YouTube videos on how to bind buttons to wheel f1 22. Glad you’ve got your brake pedal working as it should.

I play on xbox with this wheel and have the same issue.

The only game I found that gets everything right from this wheel (LEDs, TrueForce, etc...) is DIRT 2.0
