Re: Thrustmaster advice for XSX

@Rango82 I cant assist with compatibility, you will need to check with thrustmaster.
However, I have almost the same setup your looking at. TS-PC with open wheel & TM LCM pedals. I’m really happy with it for my first wheel & it works great on F1 22. I’m pleased i stayed away from the logitech stuff especially with rhe amount of FFB issues being reported.

Unfortunately the TS-PC isn't Xbox compatible, so that setup won't work for me. Good to know you're happy with it though. Would definitely rather have the load cell pedals than the others, but if I have to get the F1 wheel instead of the open one to then I may not be able to afford the extra there too.

  • Really struggling to find any information to confirm if the Open wheel will work on Xbox with F1. Lots of generic references to being multiplatform and plenty of people using them on PC, but seeing that even Logitech G920 buttons are limited in this game, I'm loathed to spend so much on a wheel setup that then doesn't work in the game I'm buying it for.

One thing i would say from personal experience, spend more money on pedals than the rim. As they will make the most difference.

you should also be able to pick up the older version of the F1 ferrari rim faily cheap or even second hand.

    From thrustmaster official website.

The TM Open Wheel Add-On has been designed with multiplatform use in mind (PC/PS4/Xbox One), and is compatible with all Thrustmaster T-Series racing wheel bases: TX and T300 servo bases, T-GT, TS-XW and even TS-PC Racer (sold separately).

its a nice rim and i enjoy using it. I would recommend only using it with gloves though, as sweaty hands destroy the swade fairly quick.

@ajobling1983 That's what I was hoping to do. Would definitely prefer the load cell pedals if I can stretch to it

Dont know what its going for now but i got ts-pc base, open wheel rim and tm lcm pedals for £584 in April this year. Think there was a little discount on. I’m happy i paid the extra instead of going for logitech.
