I seems to have found a solution and so far its working fine and I went through an hour gameplay without crash.

Honestly not sure if this would work for you but worth a try.

I did all the "add firewall exceptions" and Anti virus disabled, but were still experiencing the ego dump crashes the first 20 seconds on the first lap. I also tried all the fixes other recommended such as changing Nvidia options and using TAA instead of DLSS, as well as Verifying Data Integrity, but still no luck.

    What I did:

    1. Installed the newest Nvidia driver
    2. Deleted F1 22 shortcut on desktop (skip this step if you didn't create one)
    3. Go to F1 22 installation folder (in my case it was within Steam folder)
    4. Right clicked the F1_22.exe executable and "send to desktop as shortcut"
    5. Go to Properties in the shortcut and under the Compatibility tab, click Change settings for all users
    6. Enable the Run this program as an administrator
    7. Apply and OK

I was able to run the game and not have a single crash within the hour duration I tried I also relaunched the game a few times and it seems to be working fine. By all means this might be just luck so I still need to give it a few more days, but this is somewhere to start off on.

    Good Luck.

  • @jedidoodHope it helps someone. Didn't make a difference for me (game always been running in admin mode, but tried nonetheless).

@EA_Illium, any chance of a solution?? I'm at 30+ hours of troubleshooting now and around 3,5 hours of benchmarking ingame and approx 30-45 minutes of actual playtime. Read my other posts before suggesting solutions, as I've tried everything that's been posted on this forum by any EA representative.

Let me be clear, ALL other games I own (and that's alot) run 100% smooth - including F1 21. Yet, F1 22 appears to be so incredibly broken that it just won't run.

And no, i'm not gonna downgrade to Win10 or Win7 to be able to play a game that supposedly should be newer than F1 21.
