Re: Codemasters vs. EA

@LuckyNico92Long time since I read you in the old forum, mate.

I honestly don't feel this way but I totally respect your oppinion and frustration afterall each player has a personnal experience on the game.

What keeps me from thinking this way is mainly that I see it as a cycle: complaining about the latest release/going back to last year's release. Year after year.

I too see EA filling the game up with things that we don't want but I understand that we're a small share of everyone who plays it and by reaching these broader markets, CM can benefit too. Choices, there's no right or wrong, just things that we agree or not. Maybe by retaining the old business model they were simply not making money enough to keep the studio working.
As a matter of fact, F1 22 ranks among the most downloaded games in the late 2 months, facing big ones like Horizon Forbidden West and Elden Ring - this is big deal.

I guess when I go to play any game I just enter a parallel universe and I don't really take much into account. If the AI is too OP, I low it. If TC is hard on the rain, I turn on the assist and so on. But again, that's me, a 36 yo brazilian business man who get home tired af and just want to be the first brazilian racing for McLaren since Senna (hehe).

Could they let F1 Life aside and focus on racing? For sure.
Could they allow us to edit career mode as we want in terms of tracks and weather? Definitely.

But I like the new tracks layouts, new engineer, graphics are gorgeous and other small things that made it superior to F1 2021, in my oppinion.

Don't get me wrong, I totally respect your oppinion. I just take games as games and I just try to relax with it.
