Re: Car randomly slowing down a heap

This sounds like a controller/pedal issue... Look at what happens to the throttle and brake traces on-screen the next time it happens. My guess is you'll see a significant amount of brake is still being applied when you're trying to accelerate.

    @Ultrasonic_77 I don’t have that option on f1 ps5 as far as I can tell. I went into Assetto corsa though and after pushing off and onto the brake a heap it let off instantly every time so I don’t know

    You definitely do. I play on PS5 too. It's on the main HUD but possibly you've got this hidden because you're using cockpit view (as I do).

    @Ultrasonic_77 welp, I checked and I’d come out of the corner, only reaching half throttle, it only happens on f1 so I don’t think it’s my pedals but rather an in game issue, but none the less it is a throttle issue, so idk

    For context, what wheel and pedals are you using?

    In game, if you go to Settings > Controls, Vibration & Force Feedback, select your control profile, choose Edit and then Test Buttons, are you able to recreate the issue? If you can easily connect your wheel to a PC you could probably also test performance independent of the game using the wheel manufacturer's own software. (I know you play on PS5 as I do - I'm just suggesting this for troubleshooting.)

    @Ultrasonic_77 I’m currently using a g29 set up, I can’t right now as it’s kind of 11:55 in Australia so my household probably wouldn’t enjoy that but I’ll get back to you when I can.

    @Fingerbun There’s a couple of posts on this board. That have been posted today. Slightly different issues but all are to do with Logitech wheels, may be worth contacting Logitech. Could be a issue at their end

    @ScarDuck14Rightio, I’ll do that

    Did you try what I suggested? Personally I still think it's most likely you're experiencing a hardware fault specufic to your pedals.

    @Ultrasonic_77Yep, I couldn’t recreate it no matter how much I tried so I’ll see where it goes from here

    That's interesting, and a bit confusing. Unless perhaps it actually is related to traction control.

    @Ultrasonic_77 Nevermind, I had one more go at recreating it and did, if I fully push the brake in there and stamp on the throttle while it’s still full on it only goes to 50, if I get off the brake it still stays on around 50, but if I then get off the throttle and back on it fixes itself, which it doesn’t in game.

    @Ultrasonic_77 After unplugging everything in the pedals and replugging it all in Ive fixed it, hopefully it stays that way

    Hey @Fingerbun

    How are you getting on lately? Have you run into any throttle issues since your last post?
