TB Really needs an update
I just finished creating a team and it was mostly fine, but I noticed a few issues that could be addressed, as well as a few additions I’d like to see:
1. some colors don’t correspond very well. Like a black shiny helmet on TB looks dark grey in game. The white chrome looks silver on TB, but is almost blacked out in game.
2. the chin straps seem to change color based on the color of the helmet. My team is Black, Blue, White, and Silver. I trued to make my white helmet have a black chin strap and my black helmet have a white chin strap. On TB it looked fine. In game the straps had changed color to match the primary color of the helmet. This is unacceptable.
3. The belts in the pants don’t work either. I tried to give my black pants a blue belt and in game it was black and the white pants had a white belt. So, I’m guessing the belts have the same issue as the chin straps do.
4. The outer layer of socks cannot be tucked or changed in any way in the game.
5. Once inside the franchise, I noticed that the stadium was in rough shape. I had a 26 rating with all level 2s and 3s. What is up with that?
6. I also noticed that I have zero players that sell jerseys. That seems like a bug. You mean to tell me that I have a fan base, but they don’t want to buy the jersey of my superstar running back or X-factor QB? Come on…
Those are the things I noticed from today’s attempt. Now onto things I’d like to see added:
1. The ability to add logos or at least a team name to our end zones. I don’t understand why that’s not already an option.
2. I haven’t tried this, so it may already be available, but in case it’s not…I’d like to see the ability to make changes on TB and have them update to already uploaded teams within franchise. I started a franchise today with a friend and if I make a change, that I realize needed to be made, we should be able to just update that change and continue playing the same franchise. Again…that may be available. I just haven’t tried yet.
3. The ability to change the color of logos. I wanted to use the Husky logo, but the color scheme is terrible. That needs to be added ASAP.
4. A TB coach in game. If you can produce players for the team, then why can’t I have a coach that’s not in the game too? I replaced the Lions with my team and was stuck with Campbell, unless I wanted to fire him. Where did the TB coach go?
Based on what I’ve noticed, so far, I don’t expect this post to be looked at or acknowledged by anyone who works for EA. I feel like responses and conversations with mods was much easier and better a year or two ago. Now it seems like a ghost town. But…here’s hoping!
