Madden 25 never saves edited rosters, for H2H matches. Requires d/l every time

Summarize your bug Saving and overwriting past saved rosters is not new. I've been playing Madden, since before the days of memory cards (late 90's). Despite these instructions for how to save the edits you make to your roster, it only works when you play random people; this issue occurs after having already downloaded the latest roster. If trying to use an edited roster, in H2H matches, Madden 25 will tell you that you need to download an updated roster, or you can't play. This occurs 100% of the time; the only time that H2H will not tell you to download the latest roster is if you've made absolutely zero changes to the stock roster, but, if you change just one position, H2H will make you download a new roster and wipe out all of your roster changes. In other words, any and all roster changes are voided, and it requires the player to pause the game after the first kickoff, and make the roster changes at the start of every H2H game. This is time consuming, and is very frustrating. I have read a couple other forums, related to this topic, but EA has made no effort to fix this. Something else to take note of is that kicking/punting meters are completely different, between H2H matches and playing random people. The H2H meters are the same as the older ones, from Madden 24, and prior years, whereas the Madden 25 meters are updated.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Simply, make roster changes to your team of choice. Then, be invited to or invite someone else to a H2H match. Before you enter the screen that shows which team that you're going to select, with the options of time of day, weather, etc., H2H will force you to download the latest roster, or you can't play. This has been occurring, since the launch of Madden 25.
What happens when the bug occurs? H2H players are forced to download a roster that wipes out all of their roster changes, or Madden 25 will not allow you to join the H2H match. The only time that the system does not require the download of a new roster is if the player has made zero changes to the roster. But, let's say that you wanted to do something so small as move one receiver up one spot on your depth chart. You save your file and overwrite the previous roster, but the system will not allow you to play, unless download a roster, and void all of your changes.
What do you expect to see? I expect Madden 25 H2H game rosters to function how they always have forever. This is the first Madden that does not allow players to make edits to their rosters, and then play each other with those edited rosters.
