Nope, I've played it a couple times more after playing it the first time to get the passing yard achievement but it has yet to complete that that objective.

That's strange. Its possible you might have received the rewards already and it's a UI error where the bar never progressed, our Support team can verify whether you received the rewards or not. I'd contact them real quick to make sure you get the rewards you've earned. Click here to contact them
It could also be a caching issue. Have you tried reinstalling the app since the fix? If you synced up to your account to Facebook/Apple/Google your progress will be preserved when you re-install.
