Are you saying there isn't enough players available in the game for a specific team or are you having trouble finding them on the auction house? We'll need some more details on what you're explaining.

If backups aren't showing up on your roster try using the lineup tool on the right side of the roster screen and sort by the chemistry/team you're trying to set up. For backups you may need to go to the auction house or store for packs that contain the players from the team you need.
