I Buy Madden Every Year… and Quit Franchise Mode After 2 Seasons
Every year it’s the same cycle for me. I buy Madden, get excited to start a Franchise, play a ton that first week… and then I slowly stop. A few weeks later I’ll pick it back up, start a new franchise, play a couple seasons… and then lose interest again. It’s not because the game is bad. It’s because it doesn’t feel immersive enough to stick with long term. After a couple seasons, everything starts to feel the same. There’s no real story, no pressure, and no reason to stay locked into one save. I know I’m not the only one who feels like this. This isn’t about small fixes anymore. Franchise Mode needs more depth. It needs to feel like we’re actually running an NFL organization, not just controlling a roster. Front office should actually matter Let us build a real front office. GM, coordinators, scouts… and even a true cap specialist (CFO type role). Give them real traits that impact gameplay. A great cap guy should let you structure deals creatively. A bad one should leave you stuck with bad contracts and dead money. That’s how the NFL actually works. Also bring back something older Maddens did right… Former players becoming coaches. There’s nothing better than drafting a guy, watching him retire, and then bringing him back as a coach. That kind of continuity is what makes a franchise feel alive. Contracts need to be realistic Right now contracts feel way too simple. We should have: Void years Backloaded/front-loaded deals Restructures Extensions during contracts Real dead cap consequences One bad deal in the NFL can set you back years. In Madden, you barely feel it. Let contracts actually matter. Scouting needs a full overhaul Scouting right now just isn’t fun. It feels repetitive and I honestly just computer control it because it doesn't add any immersion and feels non authentic. Make it feel like real scouting: Regional strengths Relationships with programs More uncertainty and risk Combine and pro day actually matter Right now it’s just bleh Add real NFL dynamics (media, leverage, pressure) This would take Franchise Mode to another level. Let us: Leak trade talks to the media Create pressure during contract negotiations Influence player morale and value Teams do this in real life all the time. Let us play that side of it too. Let us run the business side (bring back OWNERS!!) If I’m the owner, let me feel like it. Let me: Set ticket prices Run promotions and giveaways Manage fan happiness See revenue change based on performance Make market size and success actually matter. Stadiums and team identity should evolve If I upgrade a stadium, I want to actually see it change. Let us: Remodel existing stadiums Build new ones Customize over time Same with uniforms. Let us update, rebrand, and build an identity over years. That’s part of what makes a franchise feel real. Add an era system (HUGE IMMERSION REPLAY VALUE) This would be a game changer. Let us start in different years and rewrite history. I’d immediately start in 2012 after the New York Giants last Super Bowl and try to fix everything that went wrong after that. Draft differently. Hire differently. Build a completely different future. That alone would make Franchise Mode way more replayable. Final thought Franchise Mode is for some reason now the red headed step child for Madden. Once a foundational piece of the game, it was pushed aside for the dang UT BS. I get it, it makes money but Madden has strayed far from it's roots. The foundation is there, but it’s missing the depth that keeps people invested long term. Right now, I want to keep playing… but there’s nothing pulling me back after those first couple seasons. If Madden focused on real in depth immersion like real contracts, real front office decisions, better scouting, and long term storytelling this mode could easily become the best part of the game again. This is about Madden 23 and other maddens Ideas to make the game better for old gen and new gen well for starters i think all the players should have thier nfl touchdown signatures like justin jefferson griddy and Lambeau Leap or patrick mahomes The Hand Waggle or his Rushing Celebration After running in a touchdown he often brushes off his jersey twice and does a one arm flex every player do what they do in real life and on old gen why is all the dance moves weird looking why not the Dab or cross arms or just a backflip griddy should also be part of the dance moves and also i think jaire alexander on interceptions or Pass breakups should have his griddy i think a lot of the Abilities and X Facors in the game either broken or they dont work like Shutdown dont do anything why not Replace Shutdown With LockDown to where The defenders will shadow and follow offensive players all over the field And Instead of Zone Hawk why not Replace it with Ball Hawk or Call it something else like Eagle Eye where The defenders will follow the Quaterbacks Eyes And make a break and track the ball and why is some Abilities available to certain players but not others like why is lurker only for linebackers and Free Safeties and stong Safeties but not Conerbacks why is arcobat only for certain players or LeapFrog and why not add backward leap should be available for every player in Franchise Mode there is a lot that wasnt added that should have been like Reggie Whites Hump Move Sack Or Troy Polamalu Time Jump over the Line Sack The QB Superstar Abilities should be focus around accuracy Abilities and why isnt patrick mahomes side arm throw not a deadeye Ablity or Scramble Abilities if you want to play like Michael Vick or Lamar Jackson but the rest of these Abilities need to go like Closer Safety Valve Homer Persistent High Point Deadeye Agile Extender Instead should add Ben Roethlisberger get off me or shake off to where the Qb Can Throw defenders and pass rushers down or to the side Anchored Extender Clutch Sleight of hand Quick Draw Should be Replace And called Brett Favre Gunslinger to where the QB Throws the Ball Like Brett Favre Lofting Deadeye Conductor Long Range deadeye Threat Detector Pro Reads should be change to mastermind or the Goat X Factor to where the QB plays Like Tom Brady Brick wall Omaha should be Change to Peyton Manning Omaha to where you have the play style like Peyton Manning Gambit Blitz Radar Run and gun should be change to dual threat QB and the Qb will have the play style like Malik Willis Or Lamar Jackson be Dangerous on the run or the throw Escape Artist. I am experiencing a recurring connection issue when trying to access Face of the Franchise on Madden NFL 23. Every time I attempt to load the mode, I receive the following error message: “Our Servers are currently experiencing a high volume of traffic and cannot process your request to access this league at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience. You have been returned to the Main Menu.” This issue has persisted for several days, making the game mode completely unplayable. I have already opened support cases, but so far I have not received any response or solution. I would like to know if anyone in the community is facing the same problem and whether someone has found any workaround, solution, or official update about this issue. cross‑platform progression would help a LOT of players, especially people like me who invest time and money and then switch consoles. I like to play owner gm mode where I set up the teams and just watch the games unfold. I have found that after halftime the game sometimes kicks out of observation mode and the team with the ball keeps getting delay of game penalties. This has happened in other versions prior to 26 and is usually fixed in an update. Can you please fix this in 26. Thanks

Players will be able to participate in the Madden NFL 23 Golden Ticket Program by logging into Madden Ultimate Team and heading to the Store. From there, you will be able to purchase up to 3x MUT Golden Ticket Packs for 5K Coins each that will either contain a Golden Ticket or a 5K Coin Quicksell. Please note, the Golden Ticket Pack will be available during designated times or until all Golden Tickets are gone for that day. The dates and times that you will need to log into Madden Ultimate Team and head to the store to purchase 3x MUT Golden Ticket Packs are below: Thursday, April 6th: 7-9 pm ET Saturday, April 8th: 9-11 pm ET Each day (Thursday and Saturday) we will be giving out 17 Golden Ticket collectibles for a total of 34 Golden Tickets for the entire program. I understand the servers shutdown for the game. however since that server shutdown NONE of the trophies will unlock for PS5 on the game. Even single player. surely this was not the intention is there anything you guys can do to review? Hello, I was thinking that in one of the next madden games they should add a career game mode. Nothing like the superstar, but something kinda like road to glory. You choose if you are either a first round prospect, second or third round prospect, later round prospect, or a Undrafted free agent. From there you create your character and you can insert an age 21-24. Depending on what you picked with your prospect rank, you can either do your colleges pro day or combine. The later round prospects and undrafted free agent prospect can only do a pro day. You use a he combine and/or the pro day to build up your draft stock. You start off with no traits. Once you are picked up, you have to climb up the depth chart based on your training camp performance and how you played in preseason games, this with ultimately lead to either you being cut, making the practice squad, or making the 53 man roster. Based on performance on practices and if you get snaps in the game, you can rise up the depth chart until you are a starter. Throughout the season you can be traded at random times during the offseason and before the trade deadline and you can be cut. You have to overachieve to stand out as a leader.
