Recent February update for Madden 26 — fixed… nothing.
What it did do was make the menus lag a LOT. Issues that are still unresolved: Jersey swaps after halftime are still broken. Older helmets are missing logos (example: the 2000s Carolina Panthers helmet). These are just a couple of problems that have existed since release. EA, if you’re going to release a game that millions of people pay full price for, the core game should already be finished. Updates should be for rosters, ratings, tuning, and play-calling — not fixing basic presentation and stability issues months later.
Madden 23 server issue: cannot access Face of the Franchise mode
I am experiencing a recurring connection issue when trying to access Face of the Franchise on Madden NFL 23. Every time I attempt to load the mode, I receive the following error message: “Our Servers are currently experiencing a high volume of traffic and cannot process your request to access this league at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience. You have been returned to the Main Menu.” This issue has persisted for several days, making the game mode completely unplayable. I have already opened support cases, but so far I have not received any response or solution. I would like to know if anyone in the community is facing the same problem and whether someone has found any workaround, solution, or official update about this issue. Since this is one of the main modes in the game, I believe many players may be affected, and any shared information would be helpfulPlay Now Live not working
Play Now Live on Madden 23 has not been working since at least september 2025 for everyone on every platform, the only thing that happens when you try to use it is an error message saying that the servers are experiencing a high amount of traffic and that it can't process any requests, can you guys please fix Play Now Live before you shut down the online servers on the 13th of july 2026? Hey, Madden Community! We're happy to have you with us here on the forums for the Madden franchise. You're likely here because you have a great suggestion for Madden NFL 23 or for a future Madden title down the road. This is a perfect place to let out whatever you have on your chest to improve the Madden franchise. Some rules and guidelines for this board: Be constructive in your posts. If something in game is frustrating you, we ask that you highlight why it makes you feel that way and provide your thoughts on how to make it better. Posts that are abusive or troll-like in nature may be removed per the AHQ Forum Rules. Use the search bar at the top to fill in key words to see if an existing post was already created. From our side, it's better to see one post with significant XP with the community adding onto it. This way we have similar thoughts in the same place which makes it easier to collect and read for the Madden team. This board acts like a "suggestion box" where the Forum Community Managers may be less active than the General Discussion and other forum boards. We recommend putting together a well thought out post and encourage all others to give it XP if it is something you'd like to see added into the game/franchise. What is an example of a great suggestion or idea? A post that only says "you should put X in the game because it will make it better" won't likely gain as much traction compared to one that has reasons why the current design is causing obstacles for the community, a better way to go about the game design, examples of it happening in game (video footage isn't required but it always adds more value), and how it would be beneficial for the entire Madden community. I have played Madden ever since the first Madden has came out and I still enjoy the game. There is a redundancy of alot of player using the Eagles, KC, Baltimore and Buffalo which are great teams but I do not want to play these same teams all the time, I have experienced this redundancy for years now and it make me not want to play as much because I can barely play any other teams but those I have mentioned. There should be a filter or frequency setting as to what teams I would like to play against or teams I do not want to play as much. The Madden developers have always found a way to raise the bar and make Madden enjoyable and I honestly do not know how they can top what they have done with M26 but developers always find a way to make it better. I am Japanese and have been playing Madden for nearly 20 years. I made my online debut in Madden 20 and have experienced both H2H and MUT. However, in MUT, inflation started accelerating around November, making it boring due to a lack of strategy, and in H2H, using certain play tactics drastically increases your win rate, which also makes it boring. So we recruited some Japanese volunteers and held an online franchise mode with 24 to 32 people, and we were able to enjoy playing very much by analyzing each other's playing habits. I want a system that makes it easier to recruit people to join the online franchise mode. Something like the official Discord, for example. Personally, as a Japanese person, I would like a game feature that lets me find other Japanese players, but setting that aside, I want an in-game tool to find people who are interested in the online franchise mode.Idea for Future Madden: Play Historic NFL Moments With Real Rosters
I’ve been playing Madden for years and I love the series, but I think it’s missing something that could really separate it from past titles and other sports games. A mode called Madden NFL Moments, where players can relive and rewrite iconic NFL moments using real rosters and real situations. for examples, you could relive Titans vs Rams – 1 yard short in Super Bowl XXXIV, Falcons trying to hold a 28–3 lead, Patriots vs Seahawks at the goal line, or the Mile High Miracle (Flacco to Jacoby Jones) Instead of just cutscenes, players would actually play the moment from different perspectives (QB, WR, DB), with high-pressure gameplay instead of quick win/lose challenges. To make it even more immersive, failed moments wouldn’t instantly restart. Instead, the game could treat it like the player is “misremembering” the play — a flag or rewind would happen with dialogue like “Wait… that’s not how it went,” and the moment would reset naturally with an overturned play rather than breaking immersion. This would celebrate NFL history, add replayability, and give Madden a mode built around football moments rather than only seasons or Ultimate Team. I think a mode like this could be something truly special for the series and something fans of all types would enjoy.

Once every 10 years EA needs to make a new NFL Head Coach title. Us management players have been bleeding dry on NFL Head Coach 09, and 06 is simply too old for the majority. There's over 1400 of us dedicated "coach mode" players on https://www.reddit.com/r/NFLHeadCoachSeries/ that have no modern day options for a NFL management sim. These are some critiques I've had playing Madden 26 Superstar Mode: 1. If I was a developer, I think it'd be SO easy to just use the same franchise record system in Superstar Mode, instead of only being able to see career records. I was playing RB in Madden Superstar mode, where I had a absolute monster game, rushing for 312 yards and breaking Adrian Peterson's single game rushing yard record. After the game, I wanted to look at my RB's name in the NFL Record list, wanting to see the single game record, but there was no option to view it. Why? I feel like its so easy to change and yet, hasn't been done. Records are such a significant part of Superstar mode, so just a quick fix would make this significantly better. 2. Why can't I see where MVP voting currently is nearing the end of the season? I liked it in Madden 25 where I could see how I was doing compared to other people in MVP votes, what place I was in, etc. Why did that go away? 3. In Madden 25, I really liked seeing what was happening around the league and what people were saying about me and my team. It made it feel much more immersive and personal, and I don't know why it was taken away. Please add it back!Fix franchise for 27
am the biggest Madden Franchise Dynasty mode fan ever. And I have been very disappointed in the lack of in depth focus off the madden franchise focus on dynasty, I miss the days of having all the authenticity of all the real coaches, off/def coordinators and special teams coaches. I think it has taken away a lot of the realism. It would be nice if you could create HC, OC, DC, ST coaches like how NBA 2K allows you to since you have limited control and realism over the made up coaches on madden now. It would be nice to be able to edit the coaching pool that you current have, such as name, looks, type of offense/defense philosophy’s and a position focus as well. i would love to see a new coaching system on madden where you can have HC, OC, OC and ST but also have position coaching who have speciality traits. So for instance if you get a HC who wants to have DC who specializes in a 3-4, he can find a DC which specializes in a 3-4 but then he can find a DL coach, LB coach that specializes in 3-4 schemes. And if you want more man coverage you can find a CB/S coach that specializes in that as well and then when you add players who fit your scheme their specialties enhance your players rating and the defenses overall chemistry . Players who don’t fit the teams overall scheme may struggle or your team chemistry on the field mighr reflect that. Players who have multiple scheme fits then become more attractive bc if you get a DC who runs multiple defenses the player is more valuable bc of multiple scheme fit. Same for offense .you should be able to have an OC, OL coach, WR TE coach, RB and OL coach, and based on the HC offensive scheme, if the OC mirrors it should affect the team chemistry. If position coaches mirror the OC type of offense or style of play, it increases team chemistry and gives the players a boost in certain attributes. they should give HC an ability to have a different structure. Traditionally OC, DC and ST or pass game coordinators/ run game coordinators and same on defense. Signing all coaches for multiple years would be good as well. If someone wants to steal your coach for a head coach position it should allowed but if you or a cpu controlled team wants to sign your coach to a lateral position you should be able to decline or accept. Trading for HC should be an option as well. They should also let you have to the ability to resign players not on contract years -vs just on their contract year. They should give you the ability to resign throughout the entire season or offseason. It would be nice to go back to signing free agents in the preseason to more than just one year. That’s not realistic- a lot of players sign for multiple year deals. Coaches and player should be asked to ask for contracts before if they have outplayed their deals or coaches should be able to offer a deal before their have a contract year. Madden has gotten very lazy in franchise mode and the realness has reduced every year and since there are no other games to compete it’s like EA /Maddeb don’t care but these are things that could really make Madden franchise mode fun again,

If you would like to share and/or discuss your ideas about features, gameplay or addons etc. or how to improve the game, please have a look at the Madden Suggestions Index if other players already made similar suggestions. The higher the number of players either giving XP to the suggestions made or click the "me too" button, the higher the likelihood that the dev team will consider and prioritize the suggestion. If you would like to make a (new) suggestion yourself, I'd propose to add the term "[Suggestion]" at the beginning of the thread title. Furthermore, the more self-explanatory the title, the more likely it is that other players will find your proposal and support it. I'd strongly recommend to focus on one specific suggestion in your threads. The Madden team has to prioritize what suggestions are picked up and implemented. The more focused your suggestions, the more likely other players will support it (either by clicking the "me too" and/or the "XP" buttons). If you would like to share more ideas, please post them in different threads to allow a more homogeneous discussion within the respective thread if other players would like to support or discuss your idea. This is more difficult if your suggestions are more widespread. Have fun and good luck!
