- @ShadowGhoul You are my savior! Yours is the only solution that worked for me after EA forced an Origin update. Thanks so much for posting this here.
@ShadowGhoul You win the internet. I've been tearing my hear out over this problem for the last four days. NOTHING I tried made any difference whatsoever. But doing this immediately fixed the issue. Thanks!
@ShadowGhoulThnx, BF V finaly starts updating. The first solution that seems to work!
Keep my fingers crossed that it stays this way, only download rate is very low against normal so maybe disabling the client has this side affect 😕- @ShadowGhoul this solved it bless you dude
Holy *!! Do you know how long and how much * I've gone through to try and solve this?? THANK YOU!!!
I can confirm that if you disable the Origin Client Services and Origin Web Helper Service will solve the issue.
Many thanks @ShadowGhoul
Thank you! BF V started downloading. It worked! Control panel>Administrative tools>Service>then disable Origin Client Service.
- @daviddgr8 Perfect, thanks! Downloading directly after I disabled that.
- @solvberg you might run in to the same issue. 9.130.. Origin downloaded the file and installed the update on Apex. But now game doesn't start, says that respawn file in game save is missing
I have tried to restore missing files from the bin, but now have yet another issue:
8.990.. After EA logo nothing happens. I just get a white screen with this 8.990 error code. I guess reinstalling is the solution((
- @IDK817 Re-installing. Seems easiest option. At least now it downloads from Origin. So Thank you anyway!
You are a hero without an cape. Worked for me!!
Bless you disabling the client service worked for me as well!
How do I do this?
That did the trick! Finaly I'm in the game after 1.5 years and I tried almost everything form the forms. Thank so much ShadowGhoul!!!
