Mass Effect 3 Online Pass Error
Hey, can't seem to get multiplayer to work, I'm using the EA app on PC. I see all these threads about the online pass and I've tried to follow the advice in them but I'm having no luck. Not sure if it's something on my end or not. Any help would be appreciated, thanks. (cm edit - updated thread title for vis)
Mass Effect Andromeda: "Missing Online Access" Issue
As the title says, I've been having trouble connecting to Mass Effect Andromeda's online servers and been scouring the internet for solutions. I've deleted files, restarted the EA app, verified the game files, uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I remember getting it to work at some point by either tweaking, disabling, or deleting some Window licenses it was weird. This was also when I first played it through EA Play. I don't know if buying it through Steam after that caused new issues. I can play Mass Effect 3's Multiplayer just fine so that rules out any internet connection problem, I think.Mass Effect Andromeda will not open
Hi there, I am trying to replay Andromeda that I bought on steam a while ago. I go to steam, click play, and EA pops up, telling me that the game needs to be uninstalled from steam for some reason. I try that, wait and reinstall, and again, just tells me I need to uninstall to play. A third time I tried, the game removes itself from my installed games on EA, yet it is still in steam? And now it will verify but refuses to open. I tried to contact support but the AI put me into a horrible three question loop before I cussed it out and came here. Any help is super appreciated, thank you

Over the past 10 years — since the end of the original Mass Effect trilogy — I’ve watched plenty of videos with concept art and opinions from many players who, like me, are deeply in love with this creation. And I’d like to offer you a great idea — something truly exciting and beneficial. EA is a huge company, and it has excellent potential for developing both established studios and new ones. So why not do the following simultaneously: • Continue the Mass Effect story through a new trilogy, and tie it all together with the Andromeda game? • Go back to the original trilogy and reboot it — more precisely, update the graphics and gameplay? Additionally, add a host of exciting new DLCs that expand the Mass Effect lore. Everything you may have felt didn’t make it into the original — or that you weren’t able to implement for some reason — could be brought to life in a remake of the original trilogy, using a new engine and updated graphics. The key is to avoid drastically changing the original story, but instead enrich it with plenty of new quests, missions, and gameplay features. For example, include an “ordinary day aboard the Normandy” and show us how the crew lives on such a vessel: their day of laundry, shaving, cooking, washing — basically, a typical day for the entire team on board. Add some storylines about relationships among the crew members — in short, spice up the game with something lively and authentic that we haven’t seen before. Plus, you could further expand your vision through new DLCs for the Mass Effect remake. Trying to playing Mass Effect Andromeda, every time I launch the game it shows that I'm Missing Online Access. I bought the game through Steam and don't know if that effects it or not. At the time of posting this, I'm in contact for EA support, but it hasn't been of much help. I'm kinda out of ideas

Yes, another one of these. After spending many hours over multiple days discussing this issue with both EA and Steam support I was finally told to just report my issue here. In short, you have probably heard this one before. When I boot up Mass Effect Andromeda it greets me with the error message "You are not allowed to access the online features of this game". After following the steps outlined in this ( [PC] Mass Effect Online Access Error in Multiplayer Mode | EA Forums - 9200656 ) forum post to no avail I contacted the EA support for the first time. Over the course of a few hours with multiple support agents attempting to help the end result was, that their internal system does not recognize me owning the game in the first place. They instructed me to reach out to Steam support since I had bought the game through them and ask for "the specifics of the purchase" (The automatic translation making it quite difficult to actually follow what exactly they were trying to tell me by the way). So I did just that, with the Steam Support getting back to me after two days stating that on their end all is fine, I own the game and it is registered in their system. Great, back to EA support I was sent. I explained my issue for what felt like the 100th time and eventually the support agent figured out that yes, indeed, their system does not recognize any ownership on my account of a product key regarding Mass Effect Andromeda. After telling me that they would help me if they could, they said they would report it to their internal team and sent me here to report my issue once more, hence this post. I have seen multiple posts about this reaching back many years. Some are marked as resolved, others aren't. Lets see my luck

Core Concept: Cross-Storyline RPG Featuring Shepard’s Team Members I propose developing a game where players switch between key characters linked to Shepard, but whose stories unfold in different time periods or run parallel to the main storyline. This would allow us to: • deepen the canon without disrupting Shepard’s canonical journey; • showcase familiar events from fresh perspectives; • explore the “blank spots” of the universe (Protheans, geth, Turian politics). Key Storyline Branches • Liara T’Soni • Explore her activities before Mass Effect 1: unraveling Prothean mysteries, confronting shadowy forces threatening the asari. • Highlight her rise to becoming a political leader fighting for galactic unity. • Reveal her connections to the Protheans and “crossover” moments that influence the overarching plot. • Garrus Vakarian • Trace the rise of “Archangel”: from a C-Sec officer on the Citadel to a rebel challenging corruption within the Turian Hierarchy. • Include missions on Palaven to uncover family secrets and internal conflicts within the turian race. • Show how his actions contribute to preparing for the Reaper war. • Legion (geth) • Tell the story of geth resistance against the quarians — exploring ethical dilemmas and the fight for synthetic rights. • Unveil the Prothean legacy embedded in his code, and depict internal conflicts between individual geth and the collective mind. • Offer alternative endings: integration into society or rebellion. Gameplay Mechanics • Switchable Characters — dynamic shifts between teams (Liara’s squad, Garrus’s rebels, Legion’s geth). • Interconnected Choices — decisions in one branch affect events in others (e.g., allying with the geth changes quarian attitudes toward Garrus). • Multiplayer — faction-based team battles (geth vs. quarians, turians vs. krogan). • Visual Style — retain the recognizable Mass Effect aesthetic while emphasizing unique locations (Prothean ruins, turian military bases). Wishlist: A Game About the Origin of the Reapers and the First Civilization Separately, I’d love to see a game dedicated to the origin of the Reapers and the galaxy’s first advanced race. This could be a monumental prequel exploring: • Motivations Behind the Reapers’ Creation. Why did the first civilization take this step? What threats or internal conflicts drove them? • The Cyclical Destruction of Civilizations. I bought this game on sale on EA Play and trying to get a controller work. I tried PS5 Dual Sense Edge, Wireless, Wired and nothing works at all, I press a button to try and select what game i want to play and nothing works I tried with a regular ps5 controller too, same result Am i doing something wrong?Could Not Avtivate Mass Effect 3 Error
Hi everybody. I just bought ME 3 on Steam. I'm having trouble getting the game to run on my PC. Nothing I've tried so far has worked, even though I've tried just about everything. I saw that someone else on this forum had a similar problem that they managed to solve. This is my first EA game, so I don't have much experience with it, so i hope that you guys can help me too. Mass Effect Andromeda network Error PS5
I have been playing MEA for 595 hours total, and today in mid game I get disconnect from EA server. Needless to say, I exited as usual to main hit square for connect as usual. I then wait for few seconds then see failed to connect to network. I then try several more times only to see failed to connect to network message every time. I clear data, cookies, etc. I clear anything I am able deleted game re installed it and DLCs. I checked internet running 106mb DL and 10mb upload speeds with PSN online and connected. I can sign in on phone and computer to my EA account, but still unable to connect to EA andromeda server. I shut PS5 off for over an hour cleared everything again. I then did restart of PS5 system and made sure everything was connecting online before loading ME Andromeda again. I get to main screen where it says hit X to start. I hit X wait for it to load to choice screen. Watching the top saying connecting. I then see it fail again with network error message. I manage to play for 595 total hours, and was working on 2nd Plus playthrough when this started and it so far will not correct. Any help would be appreciated as I have already tried everything support asked me to that I was able to access on PS5 system. I didn't want to have to lose both second playthroughs if at all possible. I have un linked, and re linked game(account) with PSN. I made sure email and password is correct. connected to PSN and other games work fine so far is only EA server issue.
