Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer "Online Pass"
So I've tried all (besides the dll mod) the workarounds on trying to get Mass Effect 3's multiplayer working, and nothing has worked. I've opened multiple cases on EA's support however the agents don't reply/don't get connected to the chat. So my last option is to post this forum and hopefully someone has any clues/answers that can help me with me be able to play the multiplayer.
Mass Effect: Andromeda missing online access
I'm unable to connect to the online features of Mass Effect: Andromeda, which I purchased on Steam. Whenever I try to connect, I receive the following error message: "You are not allowed to access the online features of this game." My internet connection is working fine. I have also followed the instructions on the EA website and verified that my EA and Steam accounts are properly linked. Everything seems to be in order. Previously I've owned the game through EA subscription, heard this can be an issue, but EA advisor didn't find any issues with that and right now I can't even start another chat, because button is greyed outMass Effect 3 DLC Errors
EA_Shepard Ran into an issue that I think I have seen a few fall into in recent months, that of Mass Effect 3 failing to authenticate DLC - in my case, From Ashes and the Game Pass. Picture linked. Spent close to 6 hours last night trying to get it fixed and 4 separate support advisors and none of them rectified the issue. In fact, none of them seemed to have the faintest idea what to do and seemed more eager to be able to hand the issue to someone else. My EA ID is DapperT_47, and I am using a copy of Mass Effect 3 purchased from Steam, the N7 Digital Deluxe Edition. Its the first time it has been installed since Origin was discontinued, the previous installation being in 2021 (which had no issues). The issue has been troubleshot to hell and back, I have deleted and reinstalled DLC files in various ways, EA App too. I've cleared caches and regenerated license folders. I've messed with my firewalls. Best as I can tell, there is no issue with the files, they are there and properly downloaded, and it is able to connect to EA servers. EA servers can see that I own them, it just for some reason will not accept its authenticity. Perhaps worth noting is that my EA App seems to think I am accessing the standard edition via Steam, rather than the N7 edition. Further, From Ashes appears twice in the EA App DLC management list, once like all the others and a second time telling me to manage it on Steam - meaning that it is both installed and uninstalled according to EA App. Any ideas or guidance would be appreciated, as I am rather at my wits end with trying to get this old game to function properly.ME1(LE) Main Screen Won’t Respond After Playing [Steam]
When returning to the main screen of the Legendary Edition after playing (ME1), the options are there for exiting or whatever else you would like to do. But none of the buttons on my controller do anything. I can’t choose to change Options [X], enter any of the games, start a new one; nothing. I even tried the Virtual Keyboard with no results. It’s fine starting up, but quitting playing ME1 and hitting the main LE screen results in no response. Sound and graphics continue to run, but no input is accepted. I’m using a Steam Controller (2026 version) and a Steam Machine. Everywhere else in the game my controller works fine. Is this something that happens to others; and if it is something that’s known, is there a fix?Mass Effect Andromeda - Terminator achievement bug (3091 kills, Steam PC)
Hello EA Community Team, I'm experiencing an issue with the Terminator achievement (kill 2,000 enemies) in Mass Effect: Andromeda on Steam PC. The achievement remains locked despite meeting the requirements multiple times. Details: First playthrough: 3,091 enemies defeated. Second playthrough: over 2,000 enemies defeated. Steam achievements: 54/55 unlocked. The Terminator achievement is the only one missing. Troubleshooting already completed: Verified the integrity of game files through Steam. Cleared the EA App cache. Restarted Steam, EA App, and the game. Confirmed that the game was running online. Loaded an older save with 1,998 kills and personally defeated additional enemies to cross the 2,000 threshold again. Unfortunately, none of these steps unlocked the achievement. I contacted EA Help under case #256423736. An advisor recommended posting this issue on the EA Forums. The case currently shows the status "No Fix Available." Could an EA Community Manager or technical team member investigate this issue and advise whether there is a known workaround or a way to correct the achievement tracking? I can provide screenshots of my in-game kill statistics and Steam achievement progress. Thank you for your assistance.
Mass Effect 3 crashes at "checking for downloads"
Mass Effect 3 crashes at "checking for downloads" I have been playing multiplayer for years. I played not that long ago, maybe four or five months ago. No problems since 2012 until now. EA Artificial Unintelligence is beyond unhelpful. The EA site pretends I don't even own ME3 (owned since launch) yet the game was installed with their app! I have tried everything. Uninstalled, reinstalled, cleared caches, cleared histories, followed every bit of advice I could find. Same problem, same crash, EA unhelpful so... any ideaS? Thanks!!!
Mass Effect Andromeda Launch Issue
I suddenly started having this problem after accidentally starting ME:A without the EA Launcher being active. It tried to do some 'activation' key, which I'm 99.99.99% sure I didn't have. I reloaded the EA Launcher and now it just fails to load. Your DRM is now worse than viruses.[PC] only none of my mass effect games (1, 2 or 3) will launch
I have a similar issue, only none of my mass effect games (1, 2 or 3) will launch. They worked fine on my Wondows 10 (64) computer for years. I recently had to change the size of my hard drive where I keep my games (not C:) and had to reinstall these games. Now when I click the play button, I get a brief black screen followed by minimizing of the game screen in the task bar and a small box of the EA screen. If I hover the mouse over the game icon box from the task bar, the actual game appears in a small window on the upper left of the computer screen, but I can't interact with it. No amount of clicking the game icon to try to get the program to continue and load works. I have performed a clean install of my video drivers for my NVIDIA RTX3080 ti, to no avail. I have tried different compatibility settings, to no avail. Not sure what copying the folder to the desktop and running test on it does, or how to even run test, so I do not know if that will work for me. My computer had the latest downloads from Microsoft and latest driver from NVIDIA. I have tried running the games as administrator. Nothing works. Please help!
Can EA PLEASE remove the EA App Requirement for Mass Effect LE on Steam?
Since there's some other EA games that doesn't require the EA App on Steam, then why does Mass Effect Legendary Edition need the EA App Requirement? Can EA or anyone who works at EA or BioWare remove the EA App Requirement from the game on Steam? For any Answers, is it possible to know the possible answers to know why or why not? I'm not saying it like the Community 100% knows the answer but from guessing and such then..maybe?
