Re: PS3 NHL 2015 freezes

Have you already tried to reset your console:

1. Turn off Playstation 3.

2. Hold The power button down; The system will turn on and turn off once again.

3. Once the System has been shutdown, re-press you finger until you hear 2 consecutive beeps

4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.

5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via usb and then hit the PS button

6. The Recovery menu will pop up.

7. Select Restore File System.

This will delete any corrupt files off of your system. It won't delete any game data.

Cheers
Basti

This is actually a known issue, which I posted about last year:

    http://answers.ea.com/t5/NHL-15/Live-The-Life-consistently-freezing-Xbox360/td-p/3580525

I am very surprised to see this EA guy actually posting a reply, since he ignored my original thread when it was one of the hottest on the first page.

I am also surprised to see this EA guy NOT informing you that this issue is a known one. Probably because they do not plan on fixing it, so they want you to just clear your cache and keep starting over until NHL16 comes out

I don't know how many times I have done this 100 times, and make it just a little further when I do it, but still freezes. I was told upgrading to a PS4, would definitely take care of the problem. This is bs, and no way to treat loyal fans of EA sports games.
