Totally agree. Trying the Early Access on EA Play and constantly having a hard time tracking my player (I play locked to Center and was much easier to track with the icon over my head).

They also made the indicators move 24/7 spinning in circles, why? It's horrible and distracting especially in 6s. We have the indicator constantly moving during play, pass icons, and pressure system visual clutter all on the ice.

I've turned player indicator off and just have players name show when on the puck so i can see who I am controlling. Looks cleaner.

I agree. I'd really like the option to go back to the old indicators. In WoC games, it's easy to lose sight of my player. I normally play RD and that yellow ring is tough to see. I'll probably have to go with a helmet that is more noticeable.
I've passed on the feedback about this, but no details on if it's going to change or not. Thanks for the input, everyone.

I always play OFFLINE with nothing at all on screen while Player Locked 🔒 I just remember and follow my player accordingly… I also do line changes on top of this.
Wouldn’t be easier in WOC to just follow your guy without the indicator ? And I think that online, you guys don’t change 🤔
Much more immersive this way 😉

Yes and thank you for pointing out the issue with the Yellow player indicator!
They should add a very small black outline on the indicator, like this:
