Re: The problem with goalies in NHL 24 w/ some research

Oh I've already spoke my mind about how they treat goalies stamina.  Hated the whole interview with NoSleeves about goalies.  They aren't treated like NHL caliber goalies.  They designed goalies stamina to be that of a beer league goalie in their late 40s with a beer gut and smokes 2 packs a day.   Or they watched Mighty Ducks movie and designed it after Goldberg.

There clearly wasn't much testing done with the fatigue system (keep in mind this is even *after* changes).

Had a good stretch of 3 games in EASHL where players just kept ragging until the pressure bar was filled for easy goals.

Goalies in Ones are already bad but now they have 0 stamina the entire time since there are no real stops in play - no longer about playing great defense but just blindly firing and hoping to outscore

@TTZ_Dipsy Goalie fatigue shouldn't exist in 1s imo. Also controlling the puck needs like a 75% nerf when it comes to building pressure. Also I'd lower the shot build up by around 15%. Now if it could be done I'd have the current setup work how it does right now if these actions happen on a powerplay.

Since there isn't line changes in EASHL the whole pressure system needs greatly toned down. The whole 2 seconds out of the zone should have been a thing this last patch. They treat the pressure system as something that should happen way too often when it should be more of a rare type thing of a team truly controlling the game in all aspects.

It honestly wouldn't be so bad if the defense could reduce offensive pressure by poking, blocking/stopping shots, etc. and build their own meter to boot
