@PlayoffError The big thing to change I think to make this poke more effective is to allow the animation to be cancelled out of with anticipation slides. That would allow the goalie to poke if too close but still than desperation slide across to try and save the shot if the poke check fails. Anything that freezes you into a set of animations (like certain dekes but different topic for a different day) is not a good thing to have.
