Just came up with two other things about the BAP, hopefully they'd get passed forward too:
- Not sure if it's intentional, but you're not able to edit your pros skating or shooting style in 'edit player' after starting the mode, I think it should be possible.
- When you reach 99 in some attribute, the xp you receive for that since then goes to waste, while some attributes are next to impossible to develop (discipline especially). Might need some option to choose where to focus the xp earned in matches, as you just can't completely change the way you play the game.

- Instead of the weekly training asking to confirm every selection, it would be better so that you'd dirst add the number of training sessions you want to assign for each attribute, and just press "confirm all" in the end.
- Instead of the weekly development report popping up to the whole screen every week, it should be visible all the time. For example on the right side on the main screen and just changing with RS which individual attributes you want to check out. With the same fluidity you can now check out the line score or challenges.
-Juat to highlight: here is literally little to no use for knowing which "level" your shooting etc is, the info on the individual attributes just is the important one.
The way the first two function currently makes you spend too much time on the menus and confirming everything all the time.
I think that would be less heavy for the system to work with * well, as it seems like the game slows down the more you play. Any update on this? It’s been 4 years and BAP is getting worse and worse. BAP is the only reason I buy the game and I see no reason to continue when 20 is the one I’m still playing. I’ve bought every single year since I was 11 years old. Kinda heart breaking to be the end of an era.

I don't have any updates on Be a Pro. We'll need to wait and see what changes are made in future games.
Please update be a pro. I've been playing this mode since release in 08. It's been super fun but the last few years have just been so disappointing. I'm tired of being drafted 1st overall and being spoken about like I'm the next generational player yet I'm like 70 overall. I'm playing goalie now, challenging in the memorial cup, but way too difficult in the NHL, and I can't even be sent down. I miss being able to play full seasons in the CHL to actually level up my player. The conversations where my player has to say things like I'm loving my time in this league is frustrating because realistically, I should not be playing in the NHL. This year is the first time I'm passing on buying the new release. Mainly because be a pro has been the exact same since NHL 20, and partly because it's still not being released on PC. Gamepass is cool for NHL 24, but it's not the same.
All I want for Christmas is a decent be a pro mode.
