Re: EASHL club jerseys default to NHL black one?

It's been reported. It happened to my own club. I don't know that we'll be able to reset everyone's colors and logos to what they were before so the best advice I have at the moment is to recreate them.

Thanks for the hint, but we already tried to re-create the jerseys, but when we saved it, it went back to the NHL black ones

@firemurnau  what they mean is delete the club and create a new one but that's stupid as your just as likely to have the same issue happen in that new club until they fix it and they should definitely be able to fix it without us having to re create the club we spent alot of time leveling the club to get club progress reset

That's not what I meant. I was hoping they could be recreated and saved. I'll report that saving isn't working either.

Also, I merged some other posts into this thread with the same issue. We're currently investigating this. When I have some news, I'll provide an udpate.

Sorry I assumed that's what you meant because it's the only temporary fix I've seen any talk about

creating new ones doesn't work. They just default back to black can only use the non-customs

You can’t recreate them. Once it’s stuck no matter how many times you recreate them they default back to the nhl jerseys. So you’re saying we have to start again? 🤣🤣

No. Just saying give us some time to get this resolved. Soon as I have some news, I'll let you all know.

This was a bug last year and yous never fixed it.

@EA_Aljo Is there any update on this? This is becoming increasingly frustrating. If no solution is going to happen, please just tell us now so we can start from scratch with a new club.

It's currently being investigated. When we have some news it'll be mentioned in a future patch.

@EA_Aljo Is it ACTUALLY currently being investigated though? This same thing was stated when this happened in NHL22 and it was never fixed. This has the makings of never being fixed. 

Sorry to push you specifically on this, and thank you for replying, but this is ridiculous. How will EA compensate their player base for wasting our time dealing with this?

I have just created a new club and I’m in the process of inviting my entire team over to this new one, while keeping one guy in our broken club as a placeholder juuuuust in case this does get fixed. FWIW, the creation of a new club seems to NOT have blacked out jerseys, and is working properly.

Yes. It's actively being investigated. I can't wait for this to be fixed. We went up against another team with black jerseys and it was frustrating to say the least.

Stock team branding should work in the meantime.

@EA_Aljo Yeah, it’s pretty brutal. Can you give us ANY insight as to where this stands? If a fix might be coming by end of October with the tethering update, it would be worth just sticking it out with stock branding for now. If an update is potentially weeks/months out, it would be worth just creating a new club and starting from scratch. 

Essentially I’m trying to gauge what to do here long term. In two weeks since launch my club has played a little over 100 games. We can get to where we are now in another two weeks and if a patch for this won’t be available in the next two weeks, we might as well start over. Some transparency from your end would be super helpful here. 

I’m literally spending parts of my week off from work dealing with this *facepalm*

Can you just use stock team branding for now? I know it's annoying to not use your own custom design, but this will still let you play. 

I don't have an ETA. It could be with the next patch by the end of the month or it could take longer.

I'll take an embarrassing jersey over everyone looking identical. I get the frustration. My club is dealing with it too. We'll get this fixed as soon as we can.

@EA_Aljo I could use stock branding, sure. But what’s the point without an ETA? You’ve said yourself it could be fixed by end of month or it could take longer. If you told me it WOULD be fixed by Oct 31, I wouldn’t bother creating a new club, I would stick it out with stock branding. But with the history of this very issue in 22 never being fixed, I don’t trust EA to even fix the problem, ever. Hence, starting over and redoing two weeks of progress seems like the best solution for now, while keeping one of my club members in the old club just in case EA actually comes through with a solution in a timely manner. 

Put out a broadcast banner to your community in game in world of chel mode to show the community not aware of this issue that EA is actually working on it. Or something like that. My reasoning for just moving forward on my own simply comes down to I do not trust EA to provide a fix.

I understand we have different priorities. For me, it's more about gameplay. I don't care what jerseys we're wearing as long I can tell who's on my team. If looking good on the ice is more important then I'd recommend you create a new club. You can always leave someone in the current club so it's not deleted and then rejoin when this is resolved. It's also entirely possible this same issue could happen to the new club.

Is the glitch with the all black jerseys fix going to get tied in with the one where custom logos and number fonts get switched in game but show correctly in lobby?

I’ve just remade my team. I’ve lost all arenas logos etc to be expected. My home jerseys etc are completely reset etc but away and alternate have kept all the stuff my old team unlocked. So i have the same unlocks as I had before on away/alternate but home is completely back to beginning. What is going on?🤣

@SpikeTJD That is bugged. Give it a day or two and they’ll go away
