How do I get help with a technical issue in NHL 24?
Hello, NHL Community! Welcome to the Technical Issues board. We want to get you back on the ice as quickly as possible. Understanding the info we need from you can help us get you back in the game. Before you post, be sure to use the search bar to see if anyone has already posted about the issue you're seeing. If you're ready to make your post, we have a few things we ask you to keep in mind: Be as detailed as possible! Include the platform you're playing on. Connection Troubleshooting Advanced Connection Troubleshooting Having an issue on an Xbox console? A good place to start with Xbox troubleshooting is power cycling your console. This can help with many of the most common issues we see. This process doesn't erase any of your games or data. How to power cycle your Xbox console: Turn off the Xbox console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts down completely. Unplug the console’s power cable. Wait 10 seconds. Important: Be sure to wait 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply. Plug the console power cable back in. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn on the Xbox. Having an issue on a PlayStation console? Power cycling is usually the best place to start with PlayStation troubleshooting. This can tackle most of the common issues you might run into. How to power cycle your PlayStation console Touch the power button on the front of the PS4/PS5 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice). Turn it back on after 5 minutes. Launch the game. Tip: If you're using an external hard drive for your console, whether or not it's for NHL 24, make sure all of the game updates are saved to the same storage drive. If the files are located on different drives it could cause errors or performance issues. If you have the game saved to an external storage drive, reinstalling it on the internal drive might help with crashes or errors. Hello, I would like to ask if it is possible to create my own API and retrieve data via the console for statistics on a website dedicated to hosting a community league? "Another Player" Bug in NHL 24. NHL 24 Invite Issue: PS5 Friend Sees 'Another Player' (PS4 to PS5) I'm on PS4, and my friend on PS5 sees me as 'Another Player' when I send an NHL 24 invite. When they try to accept, it fails with a 'Can't load content' error. We’ve played together before without issues, both have NAT Type 2, and the game is fully updated. Restarting consoles and resending invites hasn’t helped. Screenshot attached for reference. Is this a known issue, possibly from a recent update? Any fixes?NHL HUT NOT RECORDING MY WINS
Hi, I just started playing NHL 2025, I started my HUT team and I won 2 out of the 3 games and when I check my record it says I'm 0-3. I never quit early on the games, I waited until it was done then quit the game when it was time. This has been a first frustrating experience as I can't level up when I don't win and your system is glitching out. I would appreciate any help for this, thanks. Jeremy

NHL 24 Be a Pro storylines won’t trigger

Start a Be a Pro campaign and play until a few games after you complete “a journey begins” when you get your first X factor ability. What happens when the bug occurs? After completing “A journey Begins” part 1. A journey begins part 2 will not trigger nor will any other storyline preventing you from unlocking more abilities. What do you expect to see? A conversation with the coach or teammate that will start a new storyline and give me a challenge to complete in order to unlock a new X factor ability. Was the issue in online or offline mode? English Now I’m not sure if I’m just being impatient but I’m just about at the playoffs in my first season on Be a Pro and ever since I completed a journey begins part 1 and got my first ability (stick em up), part 2 has not occurred nor has any other storyline for me to get more abilities. I understand some of them are unlocked after the first season but my main concern is journey begins part 2 not popping up. If this is not a bug and I just need to progress through the game more please let me know if I’m trippin or not.
Menu Lag
Why are the menus in NHL 24 so laggy?? It's genuinely a slog to get around the different sections, and creating a player is terrible right now, especially when it comes to adjusting salaries. It's SO much slower than last year. I spend a lot of time making rosters and adjusting salaries, so a menu that's as fast as last year is kind of to be expected. While simulating to the next game, the game prompts me to have a conversation with my teammate, Seth Jones. For context, I had just finished playing a home game (in Chicago) against the St Louis Blues on December 24th, 2025 and the next scheduled game is on December 26th, 2025, also a home game in Chicago, against the Dallas Stars. Seth and my player meet in the tunnel at the arena and Seth tells my player that the team is going to a park while they are in St Louis for an activity on their day off. This doesn't make sense logistically since the team is in Chicago for a home stand, they wouldn't road trip to St Louis. This day off also happens to fall on Christmas day, so I find it hard to believe that any hockey team would be getting together instead of spending Christmas with their families, but you never know, I guess. This has also happened on another occasion where Seth suggested to my player to go see a Pitsburg Pirates baseball game while in Pittsburgh on their day off, however the team was again in Chicago on a homestead and if I remember correctly it was February so the only baseball games that might happen at that time of year is spring training in Florida and Arizona. What do you expect to see? For these scenarios to happen while the team is actually on the road Was the issue in online or offline mode? It’s nearly impossible to play against a friend in online versus. Both of us has a good connection and every time I want to play against someone else the gameplay is terrible. The only way to get good connection is on the rivals ”servers”. Can you please fix so I can play matches against my friends without 1 sec of delay? It’s totally unplayable.
