In most cases we are not able to confirm as the team could shift in a different direction, so we want to avoid any miscommunication and false promises. We know this is a big request in the community and I was able to get some confirmation it's an area of interest they want to work on. I have no time-table though on whether it will be added in NHL 21. Hopefully we see it soon.

@EA_Blueberry Wow so just the ability to change your number in BAP might not even make it til next year?

Does that mean we might get the ability to edit players in FM given back next year or even by nhl 23, since it was taken away? Or are you at least able to confirm that it’s gone forever, just to ease our minds.

We're not able to comment on anything that hasn't been publicly announced. We're not able to confirm this ability will or will not return in the future.

Good to know we’ll sit and wait in the dark for another 4 months + to see if we’ll be able to play our game modes again
