I found out this is intended so that it simulates having away crowds in a home environment. I'll pass on your feedback on this. Thanks!

Thank you @CordLehman , also @EA_Aljo I assumed that was the case, but more for rivalry games where the crowd could be split. But I was doing a random Coyotes vs Isles game at UBS.
side note, caught this last night. Teams at UBS lining up on the wrong blue lines for the anthem *hoping the screenshot loads*
