Chel either takes extremely long to load or is actually unplayable with AT&T internet. This has been going on since the end of NHL23 with no word or fix on anything. The game is actually unplayable because you never know when you can get in
Since there aren't any widespread reports of problems it's likely the issue is either on your end or your ISP. There's been situations in the past where some ISPs have made some weird routing decisions which have caused people playing online games problems. You'll probably have to do some digging to figure out where between your console an the EA servers the problem is.
First step ( which you've probably already done ) is to go through the basic troubleshooting.
If that doesn't help you can take a look at the route network traffic is taking between you and the EA servers. You can use easo.ea.com as a target address for testing. If you're running windows you can run ( without the quotes ) 'tracert easo.ea.com' from a command prompt to see how traffic is being routed from you to EA. If you want a more graphical representation I find Ping Plotter to be an easy to use, free starting tool.
It's an AT&T problem that has been around for almost 6 months now. It's only Chel, I can play any other game mode and any other game just fine. I was told by an EA admin that there was nothing they could do because it was my ISP's problem. I literally could not load into chel last night so I will be looking to switch ISP's
This is not a user or ISP issue.
How can my ISP handle online gaming for every other game on my console except for NHL? I like NHL, but it’s obviously not that popular of a game so it can’t exactly be flooding with traffic.
At the very least, if it is an AT&T problem, then it’s AT&T and EA’s problem together. EA can’t simply avoid responsibility; the onus is on them to have AT&T resolve it, or else I should be getting my money back.
Again, this is literally the only game that I have had this issue with in the last 4 years of online gaming with AT&T.

NHL naturally loads super slow but I do remember something about AT&T specifically causing problems before - I thought they said they fixed it (obviously not).

It's not only CHEL it's all EA.. even Battlefield bro. It's only EA vs AT&T. That's all
