- @TTZ_Dipsy TTZ-Dipsy, they've had a LONG time to figure that out. It wasn't a flip of a switch. EA NHL has been around for years. This is just lack of effort from EA sport to make a game more compatible with on-line users. I feel bad now for kid who would like to play friends/neighbors on-line but can't because they don't have matching system to do on-line play...com'on!! Seriously. It's the same bleeping game....NHL 20, on-line play. Regardless of platform you should be able to play on-line with a console.

It's only really been in the last year or so with games like Fortnite and Rocket League where cross-play has been a hot topic.
NHL barely gets updates as it is so I'm honestly not surprised the feature hasn't been added (yet). That said, with new hardware coming and the teams assurance we won't be getting another NHL 15(?) fiasco, I'm going to be cautiously optimistic we'll see it
