So basically skipped over the fact that I've contacted advisors twice and told to try to remember again eh? Well top notch work again EA. Shining example of poor customer service and batsh*t policy of recovery account. smh such trash.
@EA_Darko I have called 4 or 5 times today to try to gain access to my account. I am unable to discern which of the 7 verification questions is wrong as I've created the account 10 years ago.
I have access to account.microsoft that goes through all of the EA games I've purchased in the past. If I can prove I am the gamertag linked to the account how is it I cannot get my gamertag removed from that same account? I don't understand why I can't play anymore.

Hi @saintaubin555,
I'm sorry to hear that, but we take account security very seriously and that why we have to make sure to get it right.
- Go to: https://help.ea.com/en/
- In the top right corner you click on Log In
- Select the option to log in
- Click on Contact Us to get in contact with our support team
Hopefully this will get you a step further with our support team when you contact them, please let me know how it goes.
@SAINTaubin55 The account recovery process might be a bit crazy, but it's like this all for a good reason, I do hope that you understand.
Thanks Jason I've tried this several times and have created 3 different EA accounts in an attempt to log-in thru the help.ea and I believe that is the typical method for "linking" a gamertag to the EA account. This doesn't work as my gamertag is already linked to an account that cannot be accessed.
The most recent phone call the guy told me I would have to create a new gamertag entirely and lose over 10 years worth of progress/achievements etc.
How is this justified?

You can use that login to link your accounts, true, but you can also use the page to log in to your account using the Xbox credentials. It’s an absolute joke and trash. It’s still happening to a ton of players to this day, and EA simply doesn’t care. that’s more money in their pocket. shame all this money they’re taking from players can’t afford a tech team to resolve issues like this. what happens when you’re hacked and everything’s changed without your control? do we still get the “try to remember” reply? /: def done with EA games. hope their flawed system comes into the 21st century someday.
I am having the same problem I just play one simple game through EA it's Simpsons tapped out I don't have any other platforms I don't play on Xbox PlayStation Nintendo nothing except an Android tablet so Ea decides to change their login process where they want you to use the email address that you created the account with in my situation that was an email address that I had 6 years ago. I have even tried from the company that I had that email address to reinstate it but they cannot do it and because I cannot answer a few simple questions that I answered 6 years ago they still will not unlock my game when I play these games I never give my correct information because of so many hackers that are out there but who keeps information from 6 years ago I don't and they're saying what we have to keep everybody's account secure ETA makes me feel like I'm a liar I'm a cheater I'm out to hack everybody's account I have never ever ever did anything like that in the past and even in the present but they make you feel like you can't be trusted I cannot even get my data from that game which they would download for me without a security code which goes directly to that old email address go figure this is the worst that I have ever ever had to deal with over a little game that I've been playing for 6 years rather than making the difficult they should make it more easy for a loyal customer like myself
- @EA_Jason Having the same exact issue as this guy and there’s one parroted response from all EA people to go through the same verification channels that don’t work. There needs to be a better way for this to work.
