Apex season 22 console aim assist

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. It happens everywhere
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Aiming
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? Yes
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? None

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Major impacts to gameplay
What happens when the bug occurs? There seems to be a bug with aim assist in console with the new season which is season 22. In the patch notes it says console will not be affected by the aim assist nerf unless they are crossplaying with PC players. However aim assist is noticeably weaker in just console lobbies now. There’s no way it’s still .4
What should be happening instead? Should be getting 0.4 aim assist but instead I’m getting 0.3
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just go into the firing range and try it yourself. There’s no difference between PC values and default values.

    Can definitely second this. Thought it was me today but i talked to people I play with and they also said the same.

    Absolutely aim assist  is not working on console.  6K hours, playing Apex since season 10.  Absolutely the worst aim since I began playing the game immediately upon dropping into district season 22

    @DovohKiin Yeah i definitely feel it. My aim been awful lately. I used to be able to 1 clip enemies with an R-301 from quite far range and now i can barely crack them with them being closer.

    @DovohKiin I can tell the difference between pc and console AA as I play on both and console AA right now is categorically worse as it seems to be turning itself off and back on again during some fights. The long range tracking is abysmal but to not be able to track while close range shows that there is something wrong with AA.

    I did a quick measurement of aim assist in PS5 performance mode and it has dropped to about 0.35. This is on the consumer server, not the PC server. I think this is a serious bug, so I would appreciate it if you could take action as soon as possible.

    I disabled cross play through xbox settings and went into firing range to double check it. 100% aim assist is off with cross play on. It's bugged like we are playing in pc lobbies so the value on performance mode is like 0.32 . Unenjoyable

    Even if there are several reports about this issue especially on X and reddit , we don't have an answer about it from EA/RESPAWN. What is going on?

    I've had the same issue is your console account linked to a pc as well. Mine is I made a new account and I think the AA is normal on the account not linked to pc

    I was trying to create a post about this and it's not submitting so I'll just add it here plus isn't allowing me to attach any clips.I'd like to understand what is going on with the console Aim assist. I have seen other posts talking about it and EA is simply not acknowledging the issue. I'm pretty sure I know what is the problem. With the launch of season 22 of apex legends, it has been rolled out a nerf to the aim assist aimed at players who use a controller on pc or if they're on console but they're queued up together with a friend on pc with different percentages of aim assist reduction. This nerf wasn't aimed at console only lobbies but apex legends has messed up something with this nerf that is causing the aim assist feeling a lot weaker or non existent. I'd also like to add that I'm not a beginner to the game, been playing since launch plus had games with 4k damage and 20 kills. With this aim assist issue this season i have been my games have not been fun at all because i understand this isn't affecting every single player. I even had team mates questioning why do i have tik tok and YouTube on my name which is completely understandable because how does a player with this achievement badges and thousands of kills is playing at this level which is embarrassing. I will add some clips from last season and this season for you to compare. Please EA I'd like a reply as soon as possible. You need to acknowledge your community not just ignore us.
