Can't pick up loot from deathbox

Which Legend were you playing (if applicable)? Don't matter, has the problem for all games when the problem is present

Where did the issue occur? In a match
Which part of the map or menu were you in? If you don't remember the exact name, please describe the area or what you were trying to do in the menu. Every deathbox anywhere
What were you doing when the issue occurred? E.g. respawning a squad mate at a beacon, using an ability, a squad mate left the game. Looting
Did your squad mates also experience the issue? No
How many matches had you played in a row before the issue occurred? None. Happened in the first game after the update, but it has happened before so propably nothing to do with the update. The worst thing is that it lasts a long time, several games in a row
When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 29.06.2021 at around 8 am, and lasted until at least midnight (when i turned off apex)

What should be happening instead? I should be able to take items from deathboxes
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Don't know, don't want to know because I don't want it to happen
It is the absolute worst bug that I have experienced myself. In random lobbies I am sometimes lucky enough to find someone with a mick so I can tell them my problem and they can loot for me, but it's not ideal. It has a major effect on the gameplay since I rarely have ammo and healables, and in lategames if I haven't been doing a lot of dammage I can be stuck with blue armor and gray backpack and so on. Nothing happens beforehand, no implications of the bug before I enter a game or anything, I just can't pick up loot from deathboxes.
Ps. Don't know what overlay is, so I just said no
I have the same issue.
i used to play with L1 to jump which means i switched the (x) with (L1) in the setting.if you have done any changes in the button layout, try to change it to the original and try looting.
that solved my issue for now ( they still have to fix it )
Note:best way to keep testing is using loba ult in the firing range
